Special. Unique. Well-edited.. Skip the lackluster American Greetings card this time --- head to ecru instead. It will not disappoint. There's a wide selection of letter-press cards, gift wraps, and writing utensils to give or (greedily) keep. I think they do some of the best custom wedding invitations around, too.

Bright and Cheery. I recently found Ecru and really think it is a great store - lots of color! The owner seems to always be in the store and is very knowledgeable about her merchandise. She is very friendly and helpful when I am in the store. I usually buy letterpress cards, but there is a good selection of styles. The store also has interesting gifts and wrapping paper. I did have a gift wrapped and the owner did a spectacular job. I think my friend liked the wrapping better than the gift. Stores like Ecru are what makes Portland a great City and think that lots of people will enjoy checking it out.

A feast for the eyes. I love shopping in this sweet little store. It's such a relief to find cards that aren't sappy sweet, but are clever and graphically sophisticated. I appreciate the more modern quality of the selection here. The owner is eager to help and I've never left empty handed.
