You have never had your nails done until Dawn does your nails!! I get the Shellac twice a month, and my nails look perfect every day! She comes up with the greatest ideas for something different and fun. Go to Alter Ego and have Dawn do your nails, you will be happy that you did!!!

Rida is the best! She made me feel so comfortable beginning with the very first phone call. She has an amazing ability to distract you with great conversation and before you know it your waxing is complete. She does a very nice job and I am so glad that I found her.

Best Deep-tissue Massage. I'd been rear-ended in my car, and my chiropractor needed me to get some massages to be able to get my back in shape. Someone recommended Tami at Alter Ego Salon in downtown Gresham. She's very thorough, finding out what you need, then gets down to work. She does excellent work, and communicates well, letting you know what she's doing and why she does it. And I felt like a million bucks by the time I left after each massage! (I had four.) Afterward, she checked to see if she met the goals we had set up in the beginning, and if there was anything else she could do. Very thorough and professional. In addition, she does hair, nails, etc. And the salon is a fun, busy place - everyone seems to enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Salon I've ever been to!. My wife had been going to the Alter Ego Salon ever since they had open their doors a few years ago. I was a little skeptical at first about going to a salon to get such a simple hair cut, but I was absolutely amazed at the level friendliness and great atmosphere that this salon has to offer. I have my hair cut by Tracy, who absolutely does a fantastic job and I couldn't say enough great things about her.

Consistent Great Service. Alter Ego Salon offers an inviting, friendly, and warm atmosphere in the heart of quaint historic downtown Gresham. As a long time client I have consistently been given confident, kind, and un-pretentious service from several salon professional working at Alter Ego. The owner, Mary Hoffman-Salka does a wonderful job of attending to each detailed measure of her business which includes valuing each client that walks in the door or calls on the phone. That measure of value is extended to each salon professional there and seems to come through in the genuine and upbeat attitudes that I consistently encounter from each person I have received services from. It is my overwhelming opinion that Alter Ego Salon is filled with professionals that enjoy the environment that they work in and pass that enthusiasm on to their clients, something I witness every time I visit this salon. Whether it’s been a manicure, pedicure, hair-cut, color, wax, or facial I cannot recall ever having had a bad experience at Alter Ego Salon.

waxing with Rida. Wow! So glad I found Rida about 2years ago. Something about the way she makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Rida is amazing at helping me fell fully educated about any new products. She has good prices, and does AMAZING work. I will not go anywhere else for any waxing (especially Brazilian!) and she is also well educated in skin care....which we are working on now. She better never retire, because I'm spoiled with her and look forward to our monthly meetings.

Amazing, awsome waxing. Amazing place, awsome Brazilian! Rida is the kindest, sweetest lady you will ever meet! She really knows her stuff and she is very picky about getting everything nice and clean, Best Brazilian waxing I have ever gotten.I strongly recommend her.

Recommend this!. This salon is fun and classy. Great atmosphere. If your looking for someone to do your hair, cut or color, I recommend Heather Frison. She very personable, always listens to my needs and very competent. The outcome is exactly what I am looking for and more. She's Awesome! You will love her just the same(:

Brazilian Waxing. I went to Alter Ego Salon for a waxing and Rida did the best waxing I haven`t found in the Northwest. She is friendly and professional with great attention to details. I haven`t tried her facials yet, but I already have one scheduled.I am already hooked.

One Stop Shop for all your Salon Needs!. I have been going to Alter Ego Salon since they first opened their doors several years ago. I have never had a bad experience. The people are always friendly and professional. You get the atmosphere of an upscale salon but with more affordable prices. Thumbs up to Mary for nails, Kate and Tracy for hair, and Rida for waxing. Definitely check them out!
