Good food, nice people, convenient location. Lucky Star has had GREAT Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken. Their Sizzling Rice Soup is awesome as well. The portions are big, the girls there are very nice and the food is fast. We have eaten there numerous times in 2 years and have never gotten sick and have enjoyed our meal. Prices are reasonable.

Love it!. They know us by name, we come in once every two weeks or so. The food is amazing. It comes out in a timely manner. There is always great service.

Made us sick. Went to Lucky Star for takeout and was very disappointed. The food was not fresh and gave our whole family indigestion. Ended up throwing it out.

No, NOT Lucky or Good. This is one of the many restaurants we tried as we desperately search to locate a great to fantastic Chinese food restaurant in Oregon. Big Mistake!!! The food was bland, the server uninterested in our business and we spent over $60.00 on dinner. The Lucky Star food is disgraceful! Where is the garlic, ginger root , or soy?

I cook better Chinese dishes at home, and I'm not even Chinese.

Our quest (now in its 9th year in Oregon) goes on with no hope of finding a Chinese food restaurant with 5-star food ratings, the same high quality and taste as a DRIVE-THROUGH Chinese restaurant in Phoenix. There are so many outstanding Chinese food restaurants in cities outside of Oregon that it is hard to decide which restaurant to go to first. Take our advice: Save your money and fly to Phoenix, San Francisco, or Las Vegas for your fix of outstanding Chinese food! Go for a day to eat or go for a week to eat at some outstanding restaurants. Believe us, it's worth the trip. You will be much, much happier.

No idea what the other reviewer is talking about.... But this place is REALLY good. I have been to Chinese restaurants all over this country, and the service at this place is one of the best. Most Chinese places plunk your food down and forget about you, don't even come by to refill your water. I have had places where I have had to get up and go ask them for water, and then after that they don't even get the hint at check on me again. But not this place...they are always right there, ask you how it is, and have NEVER messed up my order, whether it's to go or eating in, and it has been excellent every time. Food is consistent, well priced for what you get (especially the lunch specials), and they are actually nice to you--I continue to go there at least once a week! Try their egg flour soup or chow mein, they actually have good flavor without having to be ridiculously spicy as seems to be common in some places in the Portland area.

The worse service and chinese food I have ever had!!!. I used to live in Clackamas and went to this restaurant once in a while. They always messed up my order. 99% of the time I had to go back to get the correct order. That was 2 years ago. I was visting Clackamas and I mad the mistake of going to Lucky Star. I got the General Tso chicken. It was HORRIBLE! It tasted like week old chicken. The only thing worse than there chicken was there customer service!!!! DO NOT GO TO LUCK STAR!!!
