Tips for Supercuts

2.0
June 14, 2007

Avoid the Waxing. So I went in to get my eye brows waxed on the day of my graduation. My twin sister also got hers done with me. She waxed my sister first and then myself. When she put the aloe lotion on it stung but I figured that it was because my skin was sensitive to the loss of hair. Yet two days later my eye brow still burns and there is skin missing from me eyelid... sorry no thats is to much info but you have to know how bad it was. I am not one to complain but I felt it was at least necessary to ask them why my eye was still like this. I went in and asked the woman (a different one then the one who waxed my brows) why my eye was still red and why it still hurt. The woman informed me in a very hostile way that "apparently the wax was to hot... and my skin must have been to sensitive." Yet my sister went first and her skin is much more sensitive then mine is and she left without even a scratch. My skin has never been senistive to anything, especially to heat and only on one eye? I think not. She informed me that the next time "I should tell the woman that is waxing my eye brows to put a powder on my skin to protect it." First of all it is the professionals job to know when the wax is to hot or when she waxes to low and rips off the skin on my eye lid. I don't mean to be so rude about it and I hate complaining, but the place was ridiculous. Bad Service, and watch your eye brows. Trust me beauty is not worth that much pain...
