Renter Beware

My son recently rented a piece of equipment from Grand Central Rentals when he got it home it would not perform the job he needed it to do so he called the company and was told they were about to close to bring it in the next morning. When he arrived at 7:30 am to return it and try to get the equipment that would do the job he was informed he would have to pay full price for the original rental and then they would be happy to rent him a larger piece even though he used it for 28 minutes and it was verified on the meter talk about a rip off and this is not our first experience with this company they are rude and do not care about there customers I say renter beware

Use caution when transacting with this one...

I tried to use the word "deealing" instead of transacting in the headline for this but "deealing" is an inappropriate word... Go figure. Anyway read on for the review!

I recently purchased a "new" Husqvarna riding lawn mower from this company in Cornelius Oregon. They were very gracious in delivering it for only $20 but unfortunately it stopped working after the first time I used it. They graciously picked it up, took it back to their shop and "repaired" it. Well, it's still not working right and they don't want to refund my money. They are however, very willing to charge me each time they come to pick it up and drop it off. The last time they dropped it off the hour meter wasn't working and the fule level indicator faceplate was broken.

I would be careful in using this company. they're on the gray side of honest. They actually recommended that I continue using the machine even without the hour meter because it would be to my advantage if I ever wanted to sell it. I told them I understood what they were talking about but that would only work for someone who wasn't honest... Makes you wonder huh?
