One of the chains, but each has a special kind of sushi the others don't so that's why I like this one. Better for kids and near the mall.

Is okay.. I like this place, it's great to take kids and other people who don't like sushi. Everything is mixed with mayo or something or heated with a blow torch, which is a turn off. However, the staff is really friendly and it's great to take people who want to say "I had sushi", when in fact they just had tuna fish sandwich style sushi.

Not bad though, for what it is it is good.

Sushi Land on NW 10th. Stop, for a second, at the mezmerizing go-around and LOOK around. Filthy. If you do that prior to pulling your first dish... I dare you to stay.

Good, cheap sushi. Creepy service. Go to nw location instead!. Tasty sushi, you cant beat the price. I hear rumors about sushi go rounds having quality issues and people getting sick (beware of your food being delivered atop on a model train) but this particular restaurant has always been great to eat at. The employees however often seems overworked and the manager is really strange. He even went as far as to make groos remarks to the female in our dining party. It was really weird and uncalled for. We have decided to not eat there any longer.

With that all aside though this place is standard cheap good eats. The miso soup is salty and great just the way i like it. You may want to avoid anything seared using a blowtorch because of the propane-ish taste though. Also if you get there at a standard meal time you can expect to wait a little while. Its super popular and I believe its the only sushi "go round" on the east side. I may be wrong about that though.

If you dont mind driving and parking downtown it is totally worth your time to go to the other sushiland location on nw 10th and flanders (or close to that). The atmosphere is much more inviting, there have never been issues with creepy managers and I really think the food tastes better. Oh yeah, and they have a great bar upstairs! I think you have to wait till a certain hour for it to open but you can order sushi from downstaris while you lounge and sip your coctails for the regular "go round" prices. No extra! Sadly the cocktail prices arent as cheap as the sushi but thats ok. After words you can stroll right up 10th to powers and flip through books while you digest to boot!

So beware, with your cheap sushi you may have to deal with creepy and or miserably overworked employees.

I enjoy the Sushi Land in Clackamas much better!. I love Sushi!!! I go to the Sushi Land in Clackamas at least once a week (they have a great staff). I?ve been to the one on Weidler a few times and have never been impressed. The girls at the front desk are rude and unfriendly. Also, they cut the sushi into to big of pieces. It's very hard to eat. If you want good Sushi and a friendly staff, go to the Sushi Land in Clackamas. You'll enjoy it much better there!

Cheap, but still not impressed. It's cheap and it's edible. Those are the highlights. If that was all there was to it, I'd give this place a six on the strength of their low prices. The fly in the ointment, as they say, was waiting almost twenty minutes for an order to come up, only to find out they'd forgotten all about it! I'm pretty sure the owner(s) would have been upset if they had the experience my party did.

Regarding the food: you know you have problems when even the nigiri is entirely uninteresting. I can think of three other conveyor belt sushi places with much higher food quality, at only slightly higher prices. I won't be back.

Bad experience but the place is full anyway. The quality of the sushi is terrible even for a conveyor belt place. Everything is Americanized with sloppy sauces and cream cheese/crab meat combos filling everything. It really tastes terrible. When I tried to get take out, I asked them to put the sushi in the take-out boxes and the waitress refused! I said that other restaurants do this and she said, "This is another restaurant." I recommend Sushiville on NW 23rd. This place is not good at all.
