There's something about Claudia's when you first walk in, that makes you feel like you've known her all your life. It's got all the trappings of a proper man cave--crackling fireplace, plenty of tvs over the well-endowed bar, video poker and pool. Free wi-fi even, if you need to check in on your fantasy leagues now and then.
A popular no-frills sports bar with cheap beer on tap and a "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" vibe. Cozy up in a Captain's Chair, order some burgers, and enjoy the game.

Take a nostalgic trip back to that bar in Grandma's basement: old dining room chairs, men playing poker, and blaring TVs.
Sports!. Let's face it, some times you need to go to a bar to watch sports. I mean, I don't have crazy satellite TV, so when I need to watch an out of market game, I try to make it out to Claudia's. Tons of TVs, decent pub grub, and a good tap selection.
Good place to watch a game. Went here for the Blazers opening playoff game. Food was good (try a pizza), beer was cheap, crowd was pretty cool. It's slightly divey, so wouldn't recommend it if you're into "ultra sports lounges". The best thing about it was the service. They were busy as hell with two servers, and those girls were all over the place. They kept the pitchers coming and were always checking on us and even took time to joke around. The only complaint I had was the audio isn't very good. We were seated right in front of the projection screen but the audio was only audible on the other end of the bar, but its still a good place.
Oh wow Claudia's Claudia's Claudia's!!!.
Claudia, how do I love thee, let me count the ways...
1. Rad Captain's Chair's at the bar.
2. Big tv's to look at in said Captain's chairs.
3. Cheep beer on tap, not a big selection.
4. Decent canned beer selection.
5. Very, very outstanding pizza. I for sure recco it, any kind any time.
6. Nacho's were fabulous also.
7. Big screen T.V that's hard to see unless you have a good seat, great spot to catch the Blazers.
8. Video addictions.
9. Pool
10. Trophy case with some interesting swag in it.
11. If no Blazers/Beavers/Ducks they have a great selection of NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, NCAA
12. Staff does their job, not great but they get the job done.
We hit-up Claudia's mostly for the Blazers but they put up a Montana v Montana St. game for my friends from Montana so they are really accomodating, just might need to ask them a few times.
No nonsense bar , Hideaway. This town is getting overcrowded with places that take themselves too seriously, this place is just a bar- plain and simple. My friend and I just wanted a burger and some beer - it was midday on a weekend and we wanted to get away from the fools wandering around on Hawthorne. We decided to take advantage of the ridiculous throne like swivel chairs at the bar, ordered a half pitcher of crappy but ice cold beer and two cheeseburgers. The oscars were on, and so was the game. The bartender gave us what we wanted but pretty much left us alone. The burger was pretty great, the beer utilitarian, the experience near perfect! A perfect place to hideaway, relax and keep it real.
Good burger. Good service. Good price.. Not my typical place. But was good to pop in and hang out with some old-timers and have a burger and mini pitcher of beer. Sometimes you just need those things. And this is a good place for it.
A genuine, comfortable sports bar that serves up games, pool and finger foods..
In Short
This tavern's nondescript grayish-brown exterior bristles with satellite receivers. Inside, the '70s pizza-parlor decor is dominated by TV monitors, all dedicated to sports, with an occasional break for "The Man Show" or a Steven Seagal flick. Sports fans come to cheer, drink beer and catch games. Upstairs, they can enjoy the reasonably priced pool tables. An unpretentious menu of nachos, burgers and and more is supplemented with pizzas made to order.
Decent little neighborhood pub. The food here is good for bar food. The patty melt is pretty tasty, the super boss burger can get obscene. The beers are an adequate selection, as is their liquour selection. I wish this place had Tanqueray 10 but hey it's a sports bar. It can get pretty crowded for big games like Yanks-Sox or some big Ducks games so I wouldn't recommend going during those times since it can get real smokey, overwhelmingly so. However, if you just want a beer and a burger this place should do you more than just fine.
Great Place to Watch Sports. This is a fantastic place to catch a game. Claudia's is loaded with TV's and has a massive projection screen. They beer choice is pretty good but they could use a few more micro's. Service is O.K. and the place is quite smokey, but overall a great place to watch sports.
Bartendar was so rude, smoky atmosphere. I went here and as a newcomer I felt very unwelcome. The bartender gave me the evil eye several times and although there were very few people in there, service was slow as the bartender ignored me aside from the evil eye. I did notice the older locals get a greeting and a warmer treatment. The food was just OK but I felt such a bad vibe that I would not go back.
All my games. I love Claudias, pool tables, good beer, great bartenders. Its like a second living room to me. I just dont like the smoke! (I loved showing Bush's speech muted so that others could improv his lines... awesome!)
