Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in town, and it's obvious I like going to places like this a lot. Good food, nice people, great location. What more could you want?

Busy, Friendly, Noisy Coffeehouse. This is a great place for lattes, mochas, blended iced coffee, bagels (they use Gabriel's), and sandwiches (both deli and "panini" style). The service can be a tad slow, and I don't personally recommend the pastries, but this is a great "plug in and surf" type of wifi laptop coffeehouse. They also sell used records. They play fairly loud music, ranging from alternative to reggae to whatever, and unless your tastes are equally eclectic you may want headphones. Occasionally they also have live music which is generally quite good, if unbilled.

I personally come for the espresso drinks and the free wifi, they pull excellent shots (particularly Chris) and use Stumptown espresso. Good for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or tea.
