Best Facial I've Ever Had. I recently had the most delightful facial from Patty at Facing Grace. I've only had one facial before when I was younger, and this was a completely different experience. Patty sat me down in her gorgeous and inviting space, and took my skin's history, including the products I'm using and the problems I'm having (very sensitive, getting electrolysis, using Retin-A). She customized the entire facial to suit my skin, based on how I described it and also from her own observations. The facial itself was delightful - the bed/table was very comfy and pre-warmed (nice!), this sheets soft and cozy, and Patty herself was gentle but very effective in her treatments. She is extremely clean and sanitary, and I always felt confident with her in this regard. She uses and sells Dermalogica products, but I never felt like she was trying to sell me anything. Patty was chatty and friendly because I was also in a chatty mood, but I am sure she would have been equally comfortable working in calming silence if that's what her client wanted. I left feeling relaxed and pampered, and my skin looked wonderful - dewy and calm (it's not often calm!). Since then, I've noticed a significant difference in my skin in general: it doesn't get as easily irritated, and feels a lot "younger" (in terms of having more moisture, and feeling softer). I honestly just went to have the facial to be pampered and feel relaxed... I wasn't expecting to actually experience a big improvement in my skin! I would definitely recommend Patty at Facing Grace - both as a great way to look after your skin, and as a way to feel pampered and cared for by a lovely and professional aesthetician.

Facing Grace is saving my face. What a treat! I just received a remarkable facial from Patty at Facing Grace. The moment I entered I was graciously greeted and took in the surroundings which include a comfortable seating area, and original art on the walls. I was immediately put at ease; this continued as Patty asked questions regarding my skin treatment and any problems that I might be having with my skin. Then, I donned a gown and lay on a table adjusted for comfort. The treatment itself included cleansing, steaming, a mask and facial massage. She took care of my imperfections in a very professional and painless manner (eg. plucking, waxing). All this with a foot massage included! I feel rejuvenated, fresh and glowing!!
