Best Bowling in Downtown

I had no idea that PSU had a bowling alley. We had a girls night where we met in downtown - for happy hour drinks and then went bowling before going to dinner. It was tons of fun, very clean, & inexpensive. It was very loud, which made it easy to catch up with friends.

We had so much fun that we're talking about having a girls night more often with bowling at PSU and then happy hour at a downtown bar.

• Pros: Cheap, Clean, Downtown
• Cons: no alcohol or real food

Great Place for Small Parties

Who knew PSU had a bowling alley! Took my 11 year old to a Bday party in the Viking Gameroom on a Saturday afternoon. He had a great time bowling and playing Xbox and Wii. I snuck out to the Portland Farmers Market in the Park Blocks with a couple other moms. They only have 6 bowling lanes but it was plenty big enough for the 12 kids at the party. They let the kids turn on the cosmic lights and play an ipod through their sound system. I asked about the cost and it is only $50 for an hour for all 6 lanes. CHEAP!!! They only have drinks and snacks, no real food, but they had Hot Lips pizza delivered so that worked. They also have pool tables. This is someplace I will definately recommend!
