Devine and delicous!.
LUNCH...As soon as I walk in here for lunch buffet I... 1) I am always greeted by the sweetest chic 2) The food is killer! So delicious and healthy. I felt like I ate light even though I had 4 plates!! 3) I really feel at home. The owner/couple Kelly and Harrie, are phenomenal and hysterical! I feel like I am their family and I always look forward to coming back. Great food and service and the ambiance is so chill and fun.
AND THE NIGHT CLUB...So, I went there this weekend (Kelly hooked me up with the VIP card)... SEXY NIGHT CLUB! I went Saturday (don't know about Friday yet) and it was packed. There wasn't even a place to sit (awesome still). Ok, so I admit, I named dropped,Kelly (she said to if I had an issue ok??lol) , and we got the next VIP table that came up. We danced til closing. We had the hooka (sp/?) and it was actually yummy to smoke. The outdoor hooka is nice. Very sexy like. The music is cool, the people--HOT!!! HAD TONS OF FUN AND WILL BE BACK!! And,no I didn't feel out of place. I FELT AWESOME!!
Best Food, Music in Nightclub, Best Buffet at cheap $.
I am a regular at Pasha Restaurant past 4 years. Regular, meaning, weekdays lunch buffets, Fridays and Saturdays evenings for good food and music. DJ's Doru and Sam have this club rocking.
The owner, Harry and his daughter are excellent hosts. They treat my BF and I with a lot of respect. The food is excellent, beef kabobs juicy, not dry, the salads very fresh and the Mezzeh (everything platter $15) is too much for 3 people.
The music is interesting and very, very hip. Once you walk to the dance floor you may not return to your table. Good luck with that. Style of music range from hip-hop, Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Russian. You can dance to Usher, Beyonce to Amr Diab and Jamshid, then to the best Russian clubbin music.
People are dressed semi formal and it feels good to be among this type of crowd. Kelly, the host and Brianna the waitress are my fave. They treat customers as family, not just as paying customers.
There are days when "some" servers may have been a little short with us but maybe 2 times in 4 years that I have experienced, and that is due to short staff during a nice summer night. Yes, the bartenders are hot and friendly, some could pass for Calvin Klein models.
The belly dancers are great. Cecilia, Rachel and Claudia are the frequent performers. They all differ in their style and this is good for variety.
Excellent place for a classy clubbin' night. Best buffet in town. All beef and chicken kabobs you can eat among other 9 entrees. Exotic food and cheap at buffetts, best to try all to vote your fave during lunch then to order at dinner and not like the food. Lunch Buffet costs $7.95. Too cheap for the quality and quantity of food.
An unusual place. I wondered why the reviews were so extreme and some downright nasty! Pasha will appeal to a particular, alternative crowd, probably 20's-30's. The food was wonderful, probably the best eggplant I have ever tasted. It was, however, way overpriced for the amount. The service was quite good (and we were a large group). They were even willing to give individual bills (and nobody does that). The neighborhood is definitely sleazy at night and the restaurant atmosphere "edgy". The unique aspect of this restaurant is that the belly dancers are not your typical women: includes a very large (and beautiful) woman and a young man dressed as a woman. The aggressive efforts to get close to you for tips would not be comfortable for some diners. I might consider trying the lunch buffet, but will be unlikely to come back again in the evening.
Great food, music and great service, not the place for cheap and rude guests.
This palce is packed with great tasting food, great service, the food price for the amount and the quality
exceeds al lexpectation and beats all other places. specially the lunch buffet, has a lot of variety of food, they even give expensive fish. all you can eat lunch Buffet for $7.99 which is cheaper to about the same as food court. for this price you get the quality food and state of the art service. at weekends nights it packed
and the service may be overlloked by the busy servers, so don't blame once a while issue with server niglegent of credit card cahrge or service. this is a great place with great food, no other persian resaurant can beat this place. money spent in this place is well worth for what you get.
So surprised!!!. My first time at Pasha was spectacular! I didnt know what to expect but all my friends rave about it so I wanted to give it a shot. There was a line to get in and I see why...this place is addicting..I have never heard so many different types of music and the atmosphere is sooooo exotic. I danced with all sorts of people all night who were very hot and fun. The hummus (sp?) was yummy . The bartenders are hot. The belly dancer was amazing... I have never seen that before and I was blown away. I cant wait for the weekends now. This place rocks!!!!
Management and service is horrible! Fraudulent charges on my credit card!. I went to Pasha for a friends birthday party. I was there for only an hour and ordered 1 drink and a hummus plate totaling $12. My credit card was charged the $12 for that purchase. Later an additional charge of $80 came through that night! When I called explaining that there had to be some kind of mistake, the manager was less than helpful stating that she had no such charge (at that point she did not even have my full name or credit card info to investigate and make that assessment). When I talked to my bank, they said that Pasha had recieved the $80. The manager refused to refund my money and said that in 90 days the bank will collect it from them and then I will get paid. So rather than refund my money immediately or spend 5 minutes investigating the charge- I was supposed to wait for the bank to forcefully retrieve it from them! What I would like to know is how they charged me hours after I had already left when they didn't have my card?!! If you are into Hummus, poor service and dingy surroundings, then go there - just be sure to use cash!
So cool and classy.... I came in to Pasha on Friday for the lunch buffet. First off the service of our waitress was phenominal and she is way cute (which is a rare combo). The food is delicous and fresh. Our server recomended us to come in tonight to see the 'nighclub part' of Pasha. I am glad I did! The girls are hot and service was good. We enjoyed strong drinks and felt like we were back home. We will be back!
For a good time go here. don't know about the day time but at night it is a good spot if you are looking for a 10 dollar fun time, all you have to do is dress nice, don't matter how much money you have the girls in here think all the guys are rich, flash a 10.00 bill and get a bj in the bathroom. I suggest this place to people who haven't gotten some for a long time and never been there before the girls always swarm around the new folks. Kinda like lounge lizards at a truck stop. beware though alot of people who go there have been attacked by the silent ninja or other harmful illnesses. Also not a place to bring your wife unless you want a divorice, the sluts in here don't care if you are married. even the waitstaff. The food is ok if you like dry meat and even drier rice. The belly dancer could lose about 10 pounds, thats how they avoid serving the food at night. Is have some obese chick dance in a small outfit.
Watch out for the militant dress code. Went to go hear a friend perform at this club several months ago. Brought a guest and was prepared to pay the (obnoxious) door charge for the both of us. Looking through the window I could see that there were <10 customers in the whole place. Because I was wearing shorts and sandals, the bouncer told me that they would not let me enter. My friend was about to go on stage and since I live ~ 30 minutes away from this venue, I asked if I could speak with his supervisor to see if this was negotiable. A man wearing a suit then emerged. He was both condescending and belligerent. He refused to look at me and instead spoke only to my guest. He told my guest that they were a formal restaurant with a formal dress code and that he didn't care who I was friends with, that nobody dressed like me was getting into his restaurant. (This is Portland, right?) Eventually I found clothes that met their criteria and tried their food. Nicholas' put this place to shame for a fraction of the price. So...apart from a few musicians and bellydancers who sometimes perform there, I can't think of any redeeming qualities to pass on in this review. Sorry, Pasha. F minus.
