GREAT hairdress and salon!. I discovered Christen Stanley a year ago. I have curly hair that loves to frizz and Christen understands that I need a low maintenance cut that works WITH this kind of hair and is low maintenance. I also love the color which looks natural. Christen is great to work with and she offers a sincere and honest approach to making recommendations. She is never pushy about products but makes great recommendations for me. Want great hair? Go to GLEN!. He does a really wonderful job. He was originally at Dosha and highly recommended by all of the staff there.I'm thrilled that he moved to Modish, its a better location and much more comfortable. He has done a magnificent job getting me just the right color and cut. I have a lot of hair and the texture can be unmanagable, but somehow he can work his magic and make it perfect. I receive lots of compliments on my hair, mainly because of the color and cut. As a bonus, he is always teaching me new tricks to make my hairstyling at home easier. Courtney Parque at Modish Salon Studio is wonderful.. i have been a client of Courtney Parque's for years. Courtney was attentive in our consultation, I didn't know how to accurately describe what i wanted. Courtney was able to translate my wishes and I received exactly what I was hoping for. Courtney is very talented with both cuts and color and goes out of her way to make sure i am satisfied with the results. She listens to what I want, offers suggestions and in the end I always leave happy. In the past when a stylist styled my hair, I would run home to fix it myself. The best cut & color with Candice. I followed Candice from Belle Epoque. She gives me hair that I love and people compliment. Even other stylists compliment my hair. I had to have my hair done for a wedding in Las Vegas and the snooty stylist complimented "whoever does your hair." Rare praise from a top stylist with 30 years experience at an elite spa in Las Vegas! One time, to save money, I went to Bliss salon in Portland; I immediately scurried back to Candice. Besides being a total pro, she truly wants to do right by you. I have no qualms about asking for any adjustment on the cut (although rarely needed), as Candice is so gracious and accommadating.
