Never greasy, Ole Frijole has offered a solid option for Mexican on Killingsworth for years. Get a side of pico de gallo--with everything.
Great Food!.
This has great food, and I don't feel it's overpriced. It's pretty competitive w/all the other Mexican spots nearby. Good portions so you don't feel ripped off. The nachos are delicious, chicken and veggie.
TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT
good, if overpriced.. this place has friendly staff and good food. its a little over priced considering the 6 or 7 other places to get tacos within a few blocks.
Welcome Home. I love being within walking distance of this jewel in the ruff. They always have awesome food. They do get a little busy but I have only ever had good service there. If I call in the main lady who works there knows my order She rocks
Excellent tortas.
This is easily one of the best taquieras in PDX- certainly do not bother with those over on Alberta. Ole Frijole is delicious, clean, and the owners/workers are very nice.
The tortas are excellent, I favor the Cubano with pastor and carne asada; when the owner is working, he makes sure the meat has a nice amount of char. I also really enjoy their tamales. The tacos and burritos are fine, but I always order the tortas.
cheap mexican get it in your belly.
tasty chimichanga + medium coke 5.25
i'm stuffed
that's what up
go there now
don't be a pain in the butt when you go, they are hard working nice people.
Big Burrito -- Small Price. I had my first time experience today at Ole, and boy did I enjoy it. I ordered a burrito to go and, sat down for less than a minute and out came by carne asada burrito. It was super fast. The burrito itself was stuffed to the fullest, and neatly wrapped so that a messy eater like myself had very little to clean. It was a late lunch, and with a burrito that big and thick, I had no choice but to skip dinner. I am definitely coming back for the burrito goodness!!!
You're godda mn right, Ole Frijole.... Solid gold for price, taste, authenticity (relatively speaking). Great tortas, super friendly service, high speed- get it to go, though, because they have no booze. Booze is important... are you with me on that? Of course you are...
Great local tacqueria for NE folks.
This is one of those local gems - the sort of place that saves you on those nights when you're too tired to cook and don't want to drive too far or spend a lot of money to get your dinner.
We have tried tacquerias all over town, and this one is right up there for consistency, quality, and variety. We prefer it to any of the tacquerias on Alberta or Killingsworth.
Our favorites include the carne asada hardshell tacos, the enchiladas, chile rellenos, and the cheese quesadillas. We're told the tortas are excellent as well, and we've noticed that a lot of locals order the burger and fries, of all things.
The ambience may not be terribly romantic (flourescent lights - ugh!), but the food is terrific.
