Nice hotel. The place is nice, quiet, clean and at a great price. The only problem was the soft spoken young man who picked us up at the airport. I could tell it was the same rude person that answered the phone when we called for a ride. He was quick to get there, as the hotel is only 2 miles from the airport, It could have been a cultural thing, as his name wasn't something I recognize, but he was rude any time we encountered him. The ride to the hotel, and any time we spoke with him. By comparison, the other gentleman working that night was stellar. It was like night and day. Breakfast was good, and so was the lady that worked in the breakfast room. Housekeeping was fantastic on our 3 day stay. That driver just left a sour note to the trip, and should not be working in such a customer service focused position when he clearly has no skills for it.

Decent. I stayed at the springhill about a month ago, and found the accommodations very nice. The room was large, and very functional. Unfortunately the staff leaves something to be desired. I checked in on a Monday night, and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude. I asked him a few questions about the hotel, and was met with short, and rude answers. When I asked about breakfast he directed me to the sign. I was upset that he didn't simply tell me the hours. Later in the evening I called down, asking for information on the shuttle to the airport. A nice young lady told me if I called back they could just write my name down. After I confirmed my flight information I called down to set a wake up call and add myself to the shuttle. The gentleman told me to do those things I needed to come down to the front desk. This was very upsetting. Overall I found most staff to be friendly and accommodating, however some not so much. I didn't appreciate his attitude towards me, and will not be staying here again. Other than the staff the breakfast was good, and the location handy. They weren't overpriced, but part of the staff again was rude and inconsiderate. I will not stay here again.

Almost Perfect. Our stay started off very nice we weren't looking for the Taj Mahal of hotels and this hotel was much nicer than the price would suggest. The shuttle driver who picked us up from the airport was a very nice and engaging young woman and it was located very close to the airport. The rooms were very spacious and quiet! However, there was one staff member whose attitude was simply unacceptable. This particular staff member was an African American guy who looked about 25 or so. He ignored me and was quite rude as if I was interrupting him. For example, I was attempting to purchase some laundry detergent and the desk seemed completely unmanned. After standing there for nearly ten minutes he stuck his head out of a door in the back and informed me that he was "on his break" and would be done "in about 5 minutes." He then ducked back into the back room and finished his break. I waited for another seven minutes for him to return and he was very curt and had an intolerable air of superiority.

Later i called down to the desk to request an airport shuttle and he replied that i would have to come to the lobby to fill out the paperwork which ended up consisting of my name, the number of people in my party and what time we would be needing a shuttle. All things i could have told him OVER THE PHONE.

All in all, the hotel was nice but the action of this particular staff member makes me want to stay somewhere else next time I visit Portland.

Friendly & Helpful Staff. Every time I have stayed at this hotel, I have been very pleased and satisfied. Great staff; they were able to help us find great things to do and wonderful food places. We will be staying there again.

Really Friendly, And Clean. I loved this hotel! The staff was super friendly, even though I was a late arrival. They were really accomadating, and kept the pool and spa open a little late just for me! The rooms are really spacious and quiet. I had plenty of room to work, and to relax. I loved that they had a coffe maker right in the room for me! They have wireless internet as well as hard line in the rooms free of charge. They also have a 24hour market area with lots of snacks! However I think the thing I liked the most was the free breakfast and shuttle I didn't have to worry about a thing! I will return for sure!

Great Staff and Free Buffet Breakfast. this hotel had everything I needed. The staff was quick, effecient and polite at check-in. It has free High-Speed internet and great work space in the rooms. I was also lucky enough to enjoy their indoor heated pool and spa. the best part though was their free breakfast with a waffle bar and eggs/sausage. I loved It. I will stay at this hotel on all my Portland trips from now on!
