Tigard >In Style
I would highly recommend Tu and Lean. They are very professional and fast, too. I have been getting my hair done by Tu, there for several years. I have recommended them to my family and friends. All my family gets their hair done there and my sons have very challenging hair to cut. Best job anyone has ever done. Thanks In Style
I have been using same hair professional styles for the past 7 years. Color and highlights best price you will ever get and hair cut is amazing Leon and his brother know what they are doing. Try them and trust me you will come back for more hair cuts
Best haircut for the price!. One gal from my office got her hair cut here since she lives near it. It was so cute numerous others from the office left their regular stylists to try Leon and are all pleased, myself included! My boyfriend, who is pickier than most women, tried Leon's brother and could not say enough good about the experience. Not to mention the price, less than half of what we used to pay. Awesome guys!
Over a year ago, I called close to every hair salon in Tigard, Beaverton and Tualatin looking for somewhere inexpensive for a cut and weave. In Style was the least expensive. I was extremely nervous to try it, thinking it would be an "old lady" salon considering the cost and location.
Leon is attentive and thorough. He is young and friendly and takes the time needed to achieve what I want. A couple of times he has cut my hair shorter than what I thought I wanted but after styling it at home I was happier with the results than my ideas.
Word must be catching on because they seem busier than last year but it is still easy to make an appointment for the same week. He will need to figure out how to handle the increased volume as my appointment this past week took quite a bit longer than usual. He was trying to stagger two weaves and I had to wait to finish the cut while he attended to rinsing the other person.
The other stylist there is Leon's brother and customers I have seen there seem to be satisfied when they leave, although he is no where near as busy as Leon.
Same price, Superior Value to the chain places.
I'm one of those guys who are very picky about my hair. I find someone I like, and stick with them. After my last go-to person left for another job, In style was the 2nd place I tried. The decor is simple but modern. Things seemed very clean. Now I have to admit, when Leon came out to cut my hair, I was a bit nervous. His English wasn't exactly confident, and his own hair a bit plain. We all judge a potential hair stylist on the latter, right? Well, I was about to have one of those, "Don't judge a book by its cover moments"
I like a "professional" fohawk look with a seamless fade. My hair requires quite a bit of thinning to keep things neat. He followed my instructions EXACTLY and creatively covered my two cowlicks with some deft cutting. I've had other stylists who seem to cut my hair in a way that would require me to come back in 2-3 weeks, but this was not the case at In Style. He was exceedinlgy thorough; I couldn't believe the care he took to make sure everything was just right. He asked questions instead of assuming and made sure I was happy.
When I got up to pay, there was a moment of worry. I had forgot to ask how much the price was and was sure I had just gotten a $30+ haircut judging by the quality. When he charged me the same as Supercuts/Great Clips/others of the like, I tipped him hard and vowed that I would spread the word about his establishment. For the price of the chain places, In Style delivers far better value. I've gone there 3 times now and never been disappointed. There is a younger male there who is also excellent. I've seen him work his own wonders. Support this local business and get a better haircut!
