Best dance studio in Tigard!
by DancersMom
The studio owner has an impressive dance resume. In only 2 years, my daughter has advanced quickly and far surpassed my expectations. Recital/performance fees are much smaller than other studios, and the monthly class fees are comparable. If dancing's what you want, dancing's what you'll get.
Nice staff, fun dance classes, great workout, family friendly.

I love this dance studio! My daughter and I have been taking classes here for almost 2 years. The children's dance classes are wonderful with great teachers that really enjoy kids. The adult dance classes are fun and challenging and a great workout without any pressure - they know we're not trying to become professional dancers! Although, if you are, they have serious, advanced dance classes too! Honestly, this is the only workout I look forward too - I try to go twice a week. There is a great comraderie about the place where you feel like you are among friends and it's OK to laugh at yourself. They are planning to remodel the studio before Fall classes start, which I'm very excited about. I'm not a professional dancer and I have bad knees (dislocate easily), but I've noticed my ballet class seems to have strengthened my legs and knees and I get injured much less now. I've also danced off more than half of my baby weight from a twin pregnancy last year 8 months ago! And I can bring my kids to class with me (8 month old twins & 6 yr. old). Lot's of the other mom's bring their kids too, they have a great time playing while we workout and have fun too! If you're looking for a great place to learn to dance where all ages and all levels of experience are welcome (no experience OK too!), or take dance classes for exercise (like me!), I really encourage you to check out this studio. They allow drop-ins for $15/hr. so you can try before you buy. They have ballet, jazz, tap, hiphop, a dance team for teens, and exercise classes that incorporates dance moves. They do 2 onstage productions a year too and you don't have to be a great dancer to participate, they'll find appropriate roles. I've gotten to dance with my daughter twice onstage now which is so special to me and her! If you're at all interested, you really should call and request their fall schedule. They are located in Tigard and I don't live close by (about 8 miles away), but it is worth the drive!
- Pros: Knowledgeable staff, challenging, but fun classes, you can bring your kids.
- Cons: Only one class happening at a time.
