Virginia Woof East has done a fabulous job with my rescued Australian Shepherd, Max. He was not accepted at a dog day care up the street, having too much separation anxiety from being neglected at his first home. They couldn't deal with him. When I brought him to Virginia Woof, East, they took him in, and after just a couple of months, he couldn't wait to get back to the "play room,"and was anxious to see all of his friends, four and two-legged. I remember, in the beginning, he would bark his high-pitched don't-leave-me bark, and the Virginia Woof manager told me that one of the two-legged friends who was playing with the dogs that day asked him, "Max, do you need a hug?", and gave him one, solving the problem. Virginia Woof East's personnel are all skilled with the dogs, have heart with all of us, and run a supremely professional and clean operation. I have boarded Max there overnight as well - and he still wants to go back! That says alot about the care given to the animals. He loves it there. I appreciate them all, and so does Max!

I came in last week to check the place out. I needed a place to house my dogs for a couple days. Place smelled so bad I gagged. I was watching the dogs in daycare and the staff just blabbed away while other dogs where huuuuuumping and digging their teeth into one another. Not impressed. I read the review that below that the place smelled great. What a lie. Clearly the staff or the owners are posting positive reviews on here. The front desk girls where very nice. The older asian guy did not even look up at me from his computer there at the front desk. Clearly not interested in my business. Their prices are not worth the lack of attention the dogs get.
