Great stuff always comes with baggage. Hmmmm, I shop here when I am desperate for a good bargin but the staff are rude, neurotic, and this place is Not Friendly to Kids or adults who find cursing offensive. Now, I don't care if I overhear a conversation about sex or horrible boyfriends, or spiced with curse words but my kids, mother, or grandmother (all of whom I enjoy shopping with) would. Some of the staff are nice, some are downright snide, and others are hit or miss. But honestly kids, leave the drama at home. You are at work. Their selection of goods is great, and for most Portland hipsters I doubt the service matters ... I recommend it if you can put up with a staff who clearly belongs in therapy and use their work time to work through their issues. I know this is Portland but come on ... it is supposed to be a neighborhood store.

I AGREE THE RUDEST!!!!!. Despite my frequenting this establishment almost every weekend and spending thousand plus dollars here the girls saw fit to accuse me of shoplifting at this store. I was carrying a neon yellow belt to purchase draped over the outside of my purse. The hipster wanna be storeclerk asked in a loud annoyed voice, ARE YOU GOING TO BUY THAT?

Not a pleasant, may I hold that at the counter for you or do you need help with that. When I said comeon, you know better she told everyone in the store she was protecting her customers. She must have forgot, I am one of them. It saddens me to eliminate this stop off my shopping list but I can not patronize this store when the clerks are SO MEAN! I have heard them be jerks to others and should have stepped up to the plate sooner. Even if you are one of the fortunate few they have been polite to, your turn will come. Save yourself the bad energy and shop at one of the other hundred consignment stores that appreciate your business.

So Rude!. I love this place, but that was ruined on my recent trip. A mother and her kid were looking around the store and her little boy made a noise, like kids do. (not a loud scream or cry) So the girl behind the counter demanded that he keep quiet. (Like it's a library) I was standing by the mom, and she, as was I, was taken back by her comment. They went back and forth for a minute, but in the end, the employee said he shouldn't make noise in the store. This poor mom and her kid weren't doing anything wrong. If the employees, owners, etc. have such a problem with the noises a child makes, they probably shouldn't sell toys.

True flea market finds. Love this store, a true thrift store. The prices are right and the finds are pretty consistent. And the staff are a bunch of cuties...what more is there to say??

Funky finds at good prices!baby clothes too!. Love this place-they're never overpriced and always have something interesting.The best is that they also do consignment for cute baby clothes & toys- which is not easy to find.The staff rule-really nice.

and its right next to Irving park&Cafe Destino so you can shop,munch on some goodies and take a stroll...

nice way to spend an afternoon.
