Horrible customer service.
This place is terrible. My husband took his guitar in for a set-up on a friday & because he had called ahead, the owner said he had made time to work on it on monday & it could be picked it up tuesday or wednesday. No one ever called. He went in on wednesday & the owner's wife said it would be ready tomorrow. He went in on friday & was told, it would be ready tomorrow. Called on saturday to see if it was ready, left a message on their machine & never received a call back. It went on like this the next week, with them not his returning phone calls. Finally he needed the guitar for a gig & went in to retrieve it. It had still not been worked on. The owner said "if only you had called ahead! If you can wait 20 minutes I'll do it right now". This was after having the guitar in his shop for two weeks! There was no apology, nothing.
Sometimes people get swamped with work. It happens. All you have to do is be honest about delays, be communicative, return your customers phone calls & don't BS them. It's just basic customer service. Apparently these folks don't understand that.
