Disappointing.
They only thing that might save them is the location and gelato. I hope they figure out that friendly customer service is also expected in order to have a business stay afloat in these economic times.
I asked to split a scoop of gelato so my toddlers (ages 2 and 4) could share and was told "no, you can't split a scoop of gelato and no, you can't have an extra cup to split it yourself. What?!!? I would have walked out right then and there if I thought my kids wouldn't fall apart with disappointment.
And to think.... I was going to get a scoop for myself too. I only got the scoop for them to share and just asked for 2 spoons so they could share the same cup and opted not to order one for myself and didn't tip either!

I love this place....
Courtney is amazing! She owns and operates Dolce Gelato and does it very well. She remembers your favorites and hires the best of the best to fill her shoes when she isn't available. The lunches are GREAT ! Gelato is wonderful...the surroundings are pleasant and comfortable. They also offer FREE Wi-Fi!!!! It's a must!!

Nice cafe.
I usually go in there just to pick up Alternative Baking Company cookie, which is vegan. I got a piani (sp?) once, but it was a bit plain with just a tomato and lettuce on it. I used to get a smoothie, but they are from a mix that you put ice cubes with and I believe it have high fructose corn syrup and other artificial ingredients in it. It's nicely decorated inside with good customer service. My friend like the gelato.
