Always a good haircut and color experience!. I've had April do my hair on and off over the last 20 years- wow! She is always interested in my needs and when I leave I feel great. My hair is curly and she always does wonders with it. I get lots of compliments and will return again. I am a hairdresser also, so I am hard to please and she fits the bill every time.

My head was fried and looked it!. I won a makeover and was very excited as it would be nice to try something new. The stylist found a picture of a cute style to try and showed me a color that also looked like a nice brown with subtle auburn under-tones. Had my hair turned out like the picture and like the color sample I would not be writing this. But, when I got home my 5 year old said, "Mommy, I liked your hair the other way. I wish you hadn't gone there. All of you looks very pretty except your head!" You see, my hair turned out fire engine red and the cut was an uneven mess. Also, my scalp burned from the color solution. As requested I emailed the stylist right away to let her know the family consensus. She contacted me the next morning and said another stylist would contact me to work things out. There was nothing that could be done for the cut, but I had really hoped they would fix the color. I did receive a call and the stylist sounded very friendly but she said she would have to charge almost full price to fix the problems. Whether the original work was done for free or for a fee, I would have thought a salon would stand behind their work and offer to fix it gratis. I was so disappointed. My husband did not want me to go back so I got it fixed elsewhere. I will not go back or recommend Salon au Rouge. Cute salon, friendly people, but no satisfaction guaranteed.

Chicgurl is a baby!. Chicgurl needs to grow up and get over themselfs. They are the only person who did not like the salon. I have been here about a zillion times and and each time I go I fall in love with it more and more. I know the owners and asked them about Chicgurls reviews they didnt go into details but they told me that basically the person wanted to dye their hair from really dark to really blonde. The stylist recomended against it but they would not listen. Obviously it turned out bad and now this chick is writting bad reviews left and right. Hey Chicgurl your being really immature, it was your own fault!

The best place to get your hair done!!. I am 62 years old and have been going to hair stylists for years. This is the first time I have ever found someone who actually listens to ME about how I want my hair. I love what she does with my hair. She takes what I want and makes it better. I drive all the way from Wilsonville to get my hair styled with Abbie. It is so worth the drive!!

April is amazing. April has been cutting and coloring my hair for at least 12 years. She listens to my ideas and often has many good suggestions for me, too. She knows what will work, and I totally trust her judgment. Eden has also cut my hair and has done an excellent job. I have received other services like waxing and pedicures, and I have never been disappointed.

I would highly recommend April and this salon to anyone.

These people write there own reviews. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!! They write there own reviews and there makeover pix are from years ago the stylist arent even there anymore.

If you want outdated hair then by all means you have found your haven.

Once you go, you won't want to go anywhere else!. My hairstylist moved out of state so I needed someone new. I needed a change with my hair and it was my first visit. I was nervous so I brought my closest girlfriends along. They were TOTALLY accomodating to my friends and my list of what I did and didn't want with my hair. They took it all in and came up with some ideas and made sure I was ok with it. I don't do change well and this was big and I LOVE my hair!! I am so thrilled to find a new place and already have friends that want to switch too!

Great people, decor and stylists. My experience at Salon au Rouge was excellent. While waiting for my stylist (Abbie), everyone working was extremely courteous and friendly even though I had never met most of them. The shop is quaint and very cute and a great location. Abbie has been doing my hair for over two years and is the absolute best!!! She always makes sure you are ready for any style or color changes and won't do anything that she thinks may harm your hair. She also styled all of the bridesmaids and maid of honor at my daughter's wedding recently. She knows what will look good on certain people and I absolutely respect her opinion. I will never go anywhere else!!! Thanks Abbie.

I finally found the salon and stylist for me!. I recently learned about Salon au Rouge from my sister. It came highly recommended and I had a wonderful experience today. I wanted something fun and fresh for fall and got exactly that. I now have the most beautiful espresso brown color with copper highlights and a very "sassy" new cut! It is soft, shiny and looks healthier than it has in years. I was treated very well and received great service for a reasonable price. I have extremely thick hair and have not been able to find a stylist who can texturize and thin my hair while keeping it blended and stylish. Abbie was my stylist today and she was not afraid to give her professional opinion on both style and color. It is absolutely perfect and I could not be happier. I will definitely be back. Thank you Abbie!!!!

Cute decor/cheap service. New decor outdated stylist dont be fooled this place has no clue they use cheap hair dye that leaks and they dont follow through with there front
