Best dog daycare in Portland!. Dog Gone Happy is my dog's Gucci home away from home. He's been going to this daycare for many years.

There is no other daycare in Portland I would trust with my precious Gucci. Why? You ask. Well, I'm going to let my dog Gucci tell you.

"I love going to Dog Gone Happy to play with all my bodies and get lots of love from the humans. I feel safe at Dog Gone Happy because the humans manage the dogs at all times. I also like the fact that they stimulate my brain by asking me to do the behavior they want - this is called re-directing. They allow us dogs to be dogs but within a safe and controlled environment. You know some of the younger lads get a bit out of control! Well, no chance of sneaking an inappropiate behavior, the humans are watching and will re-direct.

I also like the outdoor area - fresh air, a place to do my business, exercise structures to jump on and off of and lots of great smells. I love Dog Gone Happy! I'm so glad my human takes me there to play, get stimulated and reinforce all of my good behaviors. And, I learn things too. "

Best Doggie Daycare in Portland. In my dog's opinion, Dog Gone Happy completely lives up to its name. She LOVES it. Our dog comes home exhausted, happy, and more well-behaved every day. The staff reinforce positive behavior and redirect unwanted behavior. They are kind, attentive, and clearly invested in the dog's well-being. The facility is clean and has an outdoor area with a cover and doggie play structures. I love knowing that she's got plenty of space to run, both inside and out. And I know she's safe and well cared for.

Great Staff, Great Facility. I love dog gone happy, but more importantly my dog loves dog gone happy! The staff is always friendly, the facility is clean & organized & the drop off & pick up is super easy. The hours are convenient too, I work 10hr days, so my dog gets to hang out w/ her dog buddies & her human pals all day long! Dog gone happy is also located right next to Hair of the dog, dog grooming facility, so sometimes I sign her up for a bath & it all happens in one trip while I am at work. Seriously couldn't be any more convenient. I have been to a few other dog day care facilities &left because it either smelled weird or my dog left there super wild & hyper. This is NOT the case at Dog Gone Happy! I highly recommend Dog gone Happy for your dog, big or small.

Excellent doggie day care in Northeast Portland. We shopped around all over Portland before settling on DGH. We love the staff, the emphasis on good social skills and good behavior, the clean space and the fact that the dogs have access to the outdoors.

We've been taking our dog here twice a week for almost three years. In all of that time he has been so well cared for and he has continued to thrive.

Highly recommended!

Great Doggy Daycare. My dog has been attending Dog Gone Happy for over 2 years and I am very pleased with the staff anf the way they run things. The dogs are taught good social skills. At Dog Gone Happy, my dog comes home tired and peaceful.

We had a very different experience at another daycare. At Dog Gone Happy, the level of supervision is high and the dogs are not left alone to their own devices, but carefully and lovingly guided.
