Great Hawaiian Food@.
This place is great. It's not formal like a bamboo grill, but is cheaper and tastes better. This is my favorite lunch spot when I'm in Tualatin.

Better Than Hawaiian Food in Hawaii!.
We have eaten at many local-food style restaurants in Hawaii and many so-called Hawaiian restaurants on the mainland. This is among the very best. Without doubt THE very best that the Portland area has to offer and probably the best in the whole Northwest.

Tasty Food!.
I was born and raised in Honolulu and have lived in Portland for 12 years. I have generally high expectations of what Hawaiian food should taste like. After having mediocre food at quite a few of the Hawaiian restaurants in Portland, I was not expecting a whole lot from this little establishment, located all the way in Tualatin. To my surprise, the hamburger steak was excellent (tender, seasoned beef and very good gravy). The kahlua pork was also delicious. The mac salad was very good as well, and it all reminded me of home. This place knows how to season their food, and back in Hawaii, it is all about the flavor, and how tender the meat is. The only drawback is the location of this place. I live in Portland, but work near Tualatin, so I can go here on occasional weekdays for lunch, but takeout for the family and weekends are slightly challenging.

Best Hawaiian!!!.
This was the best hawaiian food I've had in PDX! The mac salad was so good and so was the Kalua pork. They have other authentic dishes like poi, lau lau, lomi salmon, and they even have hawaiian sun!! You name it and they got it! I had the Kalbi ribs and the portion was huge. The great part is that it's not as pricey as some of the other places, but I wish it was closer to the city!! It is a small piece of the island in portland....thank god!
