They just delivered my new sofa and I love it. It is both beautiful and comfortable. I want to thank everyone at the store for all of their help. Thanks to them, I was able to decide on what worked best for me. That is where the designer really helped. Narrowing down the choices and selecting the exact size and style really helped. I strongly recommend Sofas by Design. I wish I had known about them sooner.

it's so bad quality my custom sofa and ottoman I can't even talk about it the owner is always out of the country after 5 months of 4 inch deep wrinkles and elephants rolling around it we have to throw $3,200.00 we spent away in the garbage it's not even good enough for goodwill. She won't even speak to us.SHE'LL GET WHATS COMING TO HER IF SHE'S IN OUR OUT OF THE COUNTRY

sofa's by design. EXTREMELY WORST QUALITY ONEARTH!!!!HORRIBLE,DISCUSTING,CRAPPY,BADEST,CHEAP--EST,AWFULL,BADWORD bought an expensivecustomsofa&ottoman looks like BAD WORD THEY WOULDN'T LET ME PRINT at 6 months looks like 3/4 stuffing gone leaving huge UGLY wrinkles on cushions side arms back & ottoman. LOOKSLIKESOMEONE CAME INAND DID EVERYTHING THEYCOULD DO TO RUIN IT!!!!!!If I don't get a full refund I imagine it will be like trying to pull teeth and my profesion is Internet Marketing Specialest so I will spread the word everywhere on the internet thats imagineable by a CHEATED SCREWED OVER CUSTOMER

A Great Place to Buy Furniture. In 2009, my husband and I purchased a sofa and chair for our living room from this great store. We love it more now than ever. This spring we decided to redo our family room. We just received the new sectional and it looks fantastic. It feels even better than it looks! Why are we so happy? My husband and I can't seem to agree on anything but the sales lady at Sofas by Design was able to combine what we both wanted and helped us pick out something we both loved.

Great selection and customer service. What a great experiece that we had at Sofas by Design. A friend told us about this great store that they had purchased a sofa from. So we headed over to Sellwood to see what they had to offer. We had been looking for several months for a sofa and a chair and could never really find the right thing. Not only did they have the right size but we were able to find a cushion that we could both agree on. The people that work there were incredibly patient in helping us to find fabrics and styles that we now just love!!! Would recommend them highly!!!

We're really feel screwed over. We ordered a custom made HUGE sectional for quite a lot of money. Ignoring the fact that it took longer to delivery than promised, within just a few months the cushions started to split at the seams.

The store took the two worst cushions back and replaced them, however after about two months the replacement cushions also started to split and also got really "pilly" and scratchy (this is a cotton twill fabric).

At this point almost all the cushions are splitting at the seams, it looks like we jump on it every day and maybe have excessive pillow fights... which we don't.

Obviously whoever made it either made the covers too tight, or more likely used a thread that wasn't strong enough?

We are not even up to two full years of owning this sofa and now we have to have a slip cover made for it- what a let down. We should have just bought something at Crate and Barrel for the price we paid- so much for shopping local!
