My wife and I have lived a few blocks from what is now Por Que No for ten years (It was still Grandfather's Deli for the first few). When it opened, we checked it out immediately. The ambience is very comfortable, with GolTV on 24/7 and reggae music pulsing out of the speakers. The food is fresh and always delicious, and there are always specials and happy hour. They also have great mexican cervezas and margaritas. It is almost always my wife's first option when hungry. In fact, as soon as I complete this review, we are headed there! Don't hesitate, go there soon. Check out all of the other amazing things happening on North Mississippi Ave while you're there!
Pros: great food and atmosphere, five blocks from my house
Cons: everyone and their brother is starting to know about it (not really a con... I'm just selfish!)

Love this place. I've been 3 times now; twice with my husband & once with my mom & sister. Their sangria recipe is the best I've had. Their guacamole is wonderful & the vegetarian tamales are delish. The people are friendly & seem to like where they work. It's a hole in the wall & people are drawn to it for good reasons. We'll keep coming back.
Pros: awesome sangrias, upbeat atmosphere, great neighborhood vibe
Cons: it's not in my neighborhood
