Prices are going up. Service and quality are going down. Almost always serving the same old stuff and it seems to taste old. Sushi chefs used to greet the guests. They now do their best to ignore them. Young men at the door don't look happy to be there. The female wait staff are the only nice people there also the sushi chef named Jose is good but seems to get no support for his efforts. We used to eat there several times a week. We won't be back.

Rolled Chopped Liver. Something is not kosher at this restaurant. How do I know? My liver told me so...

This is the only restaurant that has made my liver hurt. Definitely not a good sign. Avoid the Super Crunchy Rolls.

Find another Sushi house this one stinks!

Great sushi without breaking the bank. I frequent this place about 1 or more times a week. I've tried other places but I always come back to Sushi Hana as it is a great sushi bar. The Sushi and Sashimi has always been fresh and likeable. Some of my favorites are the spicy tuna roll, seared tuna, vegas roll and the tempura.

Its also nice that you can order directly from the Chefs and don't have to stick to whats availible on the conveyer belt. Yes at times I have pulled a warm dish from the conveyer that has been cold. Just simply ask and they have always been glad to re-heat or make a fresh one for you.

What can I say, Good Fresh food, for a good price.

Best go around sushi in town!. We discovered Sushi Hana couple years ago, and we go there at least ones a week now.

Very good, fresh sushi, excellent service, and decent price for value.

Sometimes it may get a bit busy, but it's only a sign of good sushi place.

Owner opened a new Sushi Hana close by (5 min. drive) next to Washington Square, where they have less people (for now).

Fantastic Sushi Place in Portland. If you are broke?

Please come and visit SUSHI HANA in Tigard or Washington Squre!!

There is a great all day SALE on 17th. All sushi plates are only $1.00 or $1.50!!!

I have been there yesterday and I enjoyed the place and sushi because I love their service and also they have a nice interior. And I love large space of parking not!!

All drinks are also on sale, and they sashimee even! whoo~~

I would like to go there today again! I LOVE SUSHI HANA!!!

Best Sushi in SW. We have been eating at Sushi Hana for the past 6 months and it has never disappointed. The fish is fresh, well priced and if you don't see what you want the chefs will make it for you. We have always had great service, but be prepared to wait a long time if you go for happy hour on Monday evening. Definitely the best conveyor belt sushi bar in Portland. Don't forget to try the Poke.

Best sushi of my life!. This place is absolutely wonderful you are greeted by all employees as you walk through the door. There is always fresh and tasty sushi on the conveyer belt and if you can't find what you want there one of the chefs will make you what you want. They have happy hour every monday from like 5:30-9 I believe, where every plate is $1.50 or less the place is very packed on these days but they have to go service available at happy hour prices. They also do specials on mondays of a three day weekend. I highly recommend you try this place!

Quick sushi. I've been here a few times recently, and although it isn't fancy or something you'd get from a nicer Japanese restaurant, it is pretty good for a sushi bar (kaiten zushi), as you can pick off of the revolving belt or ask chefs directly for menu items, and they come up fast.

Excellent Sushi Value. My wife and I are something of sushi addicts, and we make a point of finding good places to go for the fix when it hits, and Sushi Hana was one of the first places that we discovered when we came to the Portland area. The store is not of upper class, but it beats the hades out of most corner joints that you run into, or most of the "authentic" Sushi places found in asian markets. The service is always friendly, the food is always tasty, and generally during the prime time hours the place is packed. They have excellent $1 sushi days every month or two that allow the experimentation we all love to do, and on those days it is wall to wall. I do not recommend going during the middle hours of the afternoon when it is dead, simply because it goes dead for awhile and they relax after the rush so the food gets slow, but otherwise I recommend everything about the place. The food itself is definately above average, but it is not luxury faire.

So if you love sushi and you want good stuff without paying out the nose, Sushi Hana is definately the place to be. Enjoy!

Good for quick sushi fix.. Good place for cheap, fast sushi fix. Don't expect cuisine type of sushi. Friendly staff and good value.
