Monsoon Thai Cuisine

poor service. I have gone to Monsoon occasionally off and on over a six year period. I always end up being reminded of how bad the service is. Once you get to order, the food generally comes fast (but not always). Not a good place to go if you have a limited amount of time for lunch.

Today I went there for lunch and asked to make sure the rice noodle dish I was ordering was gluten free. Turns out it has soy sauce in it (which contains wheat). I asked if they could get some wheat free tamari so that perhaps I could order it in the future. The answer was approximately that no, the owner is not interested in trying new things. Which doesn't make me very interested in taking my workmates there for lunch anymore.…

all kinds of awesome. I live in the neighborhood and this is always my first choice for Thai food. The staff is consistently friendly. Our order is taken as soon as we're ready and our food is brought out in no time. I'm a big fan of their pineapple fried rice, because I've never liked that particular dish anywhere else. Of course, I would come back for plenty of other dishes as well. I have no complaints and I highly recommend eating here if you get the chance!…

It was bad.. I was there on last Friday, the food was just okay, but service wasn't that good. Staff was unfriendly and rude! She said she is the owner of the business, I'm not sure about that. However, I will never go back to that place again.…
