poor service. I have gone to Monsoon occasionally off and on over a six year period. I always end up being reminded of how bad the service is. Once you get to order, the food generally comes fast (but not always). Not a good place to go if you have a limited amount of time for lunch.

Today I went there for lunch and asked to make sure the rice noodle dish I was ordering was gluten free. Turns out it has soy sauce in it (which contains wheat). I asked if they could get some wheat free tamari so that perhaps I could order it in the future. The answer was approximately that no, the owner is not interested in trying new things. Which doesn't make me very interested in taking my workmates there for lunch anymore.

Good Prices, Great Food!. I've been here a couple of times and been extremely pleased each time. Even after visiting Thailand, I feel that Monsoon is a tough place to beat.

all kinds of awesome. I live in the neighborhood and this is always my first choice for Thai food. The staff is consistently friendly. Our order is taken as soon as we're ready and our food is brought out in no time.

I'm a big fan of their pineapple fried rice, because I've never liked that particular dish anywhere else. Of course, I would come back for plenty of other dishes as well. I have no complaints and I highly recommend eating here if you get the chance!

It was bad.. I was there on last Friday, the food was just okay, but service wasn't that good.

Staff was unfriendly and rude!

She said she is the owner of the business, I'm not sure about that.

However, I will never go back to that place again.

Great experience.. It's worth trying out if you like Thai food. Food is good and very fast, people are friendly and nice.

I will go back there again.

A good place to go.. Good place to dine in and take out.

Fast and nice service. ( I have only half an hour for lunch, but they make it very fast , so I can go back to work on time)

Good Little Cute Place.. We just moved in to a new house close to monsoon 3 months ago. Now, we are customer there like.. 3 days a week. They remember what we like to order , and how we like it. We love Asparagus with mixed seafood (it's very yummy)

We never have problem with workers even my partner being picky sometimes. However, we did recommend to co-workers to go there and they love the place too.

Sorry, for those that had a bad experience... may be there was something wrong with the minimal tip like $1.00 FROM 3 PEOPLE!!

Great Service!. My kid and I are regular customers at Monsoon. We love to order yellow curry and pad thai.

The service is great and fast, the staff are nice and friendly.

I never experience a bad service even when they get busy at lunch time. The food is still fast and the service is still great anyway.

I give them tip at least 17% all the time ( They deserve it!)

Never give them like those cheap eat!

Great Food Horrible Customer Service. Even though the food is good the customer service is horrible. BEWARE: don?t pay with a credit/debit card and leave cash on the table for the tip. Not only will they take the cash left on the table they will add their own tip onto their copy of the receipt and enter that amount into their visa/MC machine. This has happened 3 times to me and co-workers. The customer service is horrible especially after leaving a minimal tip because of previous experiences (tip not required!) and then being chased out of the restaurant by a female employee!

Best Thai Food in Portland. I love this place, and will sometimes eat here multiple times in a week. Their curries are always good, and so is the pad thai. Service is always prompt and friendly. Reasonable prices.
