Sick place by the laundrymat.. The owner's wife is the bartender. She seems to think she's hot, but you get the impression she dropped out after the fifth grade or so. It was kind of funny how her gut hangs out from her too-small tee-shirt. -Classy. She's got this twitchy attitude that makes you not trust her. She seems rude, but maybe it was just her trashy personality. The place made me not want to sit down because I might get something gross on me. It smelled like somebody urinated on the floor and didn't clean it up. Seriously -it smelled like an outhouse in there. A customer was arguing about something with the shifty bartender. My girlfriend was disgusted and said she wanted to call the health dept, but I just laughed and said we won't go back in there. -Eww. Hmm.

I didn't know Lucky's had Great Live Music. I recently caught a band at Lucky's called The ROCKFORDPHILES? for free last Tuesday and they were awesome. When did Lucky's start playing music? I can't wait to go again. My girlfriend and I had a blast and everyone seemed to be having fun. This is not the bar I remember from a few years ago. Keep up the good work and book more cool bands.

this place rocks. lucky's is a great little spot that not many people know about - the place used to be a bit divey but the new owners have really fixed the place up - the well drinks are super cheap and stiff as all git out - excellent bartenders and friendly customers of all ages - it's is a must stop on your stumble down 28th

Right on!. Like the man below says, this place is cool. I had the same experience as well. I plopped down on a bar stool and started talking to the down to earth people that tend to hang there. Played some pool, drank some brews. A good time was had by all.

Bar full of friends. This is a great hole in the wall neighborhood bar. I walked in there as a stranger and came out with 10 new friends. Everybody knows everybody and if they don't know you they'll go out of their way to be welcoming. Definetely a must visit bar!
