Warm, Friendly, Caring OD

I've worn contacts for about fourteen years now, and a few months after my move to Portland, I had some eye/contact issues, which called for an urgent visit to the optometrist. I called about seven different places (Pearl Vision, Sears Optical, JC Penny Optical, other private practices, etc.), looking for the most affordable place, and Dr. To offered the best price I could find. At the examination, she was caring, kind, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Not only that, but when it came to purchasing new boxes, she suggested that I shop around, and find the best price before I chose to purchase them from her. She is the most personable, caring, and down-to-earth doctor I've ever been to. Thanks!

Feel good about seeing your eye doctor!

After a recent move to Portland, I needed to find an eye doctor in my neighborhood that was compatible with my insurance plan. Good thing I found Eagle Eye Optical and Dr. To! Everyone in the office is so helpful and accommodating, and Dr. To is an absolute pleasure to visit. She listened to every question I asked and had excellent advice, especially on how to treat my eyes better when working all day at a computer. All the eyewear is affordable and there is a good selection for all styles. Overall, Dr. To is great and so is Eagle Eye Optical - highly recommended!

Who knew an eye appointment could be good?

Think of the best business you've ever patronized, then imagine getting your ocular checkup there.
Dr. To is great. She did several tests on my eyes which I'd never gotten before, even though I've probably had twenty checkups in my lifetime. She also gave concrete advice on what I can do to improve my vision based on what she physically saw going on in my eye muscles. She also puts her customers at ease; I felt like I was home. This place is the epitome of SE goodness.
To top it off, her lens technician is great, too! Wonderful service, a sweet selection of eyewear, more than reasonable prices... a good old fashioned business with all the necessary modernities. Completely lacking in Portland snarkiness. Highly recommended.
