Nothing but...MEH!. If you're known for pizza...you'd better at least be doing that right. Not the case at Old Chicago. The food is bland and unexciting. I had a veggie calzone and it was really really bad. My boyfriend had chicken nachos that were also tasteless...and for the record...I've never seen chicken THAT white...what gives?

Go for the beer selection, but avoid the food for sure!!

Why did we go here at all. boring and awfull food, ARGH!! Waste my dwindling funds, overpiced and dry, lifeless food

Hearty pizzas, an extensive beer selection and sports on TVs make this a casual hangout for large groups.. In Short
This neighborly pizza-and-subs restaurant is a sports lovers' haven, with its plasma TVs, numerous beer signs and Chicago sports team paraphernalia. But the casual, tavern-like vibe also draws groups of professionals, families and couples who sit in overstuffed booths to enjoy steaming deep dish. As the night goes on, younger crowds mingle while enjoying a selection of over 110 beers.

this is NOT Chicago Pizza. OK - I'm from Chicago and what Old Chicago is passing off is NOT Chicago pizza. That being said the service is also horrible at this restaurant. It took forever to be seated, then it took forever for a waiter to come and take an order. Another long wait for a pitcher of beer and then and equally long wait for the sad excuse for pizza that just seemed to have the ingredients thrown on the top of the cheese (what there was of it) as an afterthought.

Chicago food for people from Chicago!. Being that we are from Chicago, we were struggling to find some authentic Chicago food. This place does a pretty good job. As for the pizza, it's the most similar to Chicago pizza we've found so far. The service is good and the atmosphere is fun. The place is covered in Chicago stuff, sports, etc. It's worth a try if you are looking for a Windy City menu.

Poor service!. All I can say is... first time experience, poor service (did not see our waitress for at least 20 minutes), and worst food ever. Pasta was hard, sauce was clumpy, and appetizers were not enticing! Never here again!
