Pho Is Great at Mekong. Mekong is a smallish casual restaurant in Sellwood that we enjoy often. Their vegetarian pho is absolutely my favorite, with a most amazing napa cabbage based broth. The portions are generous, and the food is presented nicely.

If you need a casual lunch or dinner and are craving Vietnamese food, check out Mekong! I have tried some of their specialty dishes, like the chicken curry and it was quite good.....but if you like pho, please try the vegetarian version here.

Incrediably delicious!!. The ingredients that are used at Mekong bring out the most delicious, mouth watering flavors in the food that's created. So, it is very fresh and very appetizing! The portions are also very generous and can often be shared. We love the lemongrass chicken over rice + the salad rolls! The owner is also very gracious and is spot on with the service her customers receive.

Fresh food, amazing staff!. On a hot day like today, we wanted something light and healthy. This was our first time at this restaurant and will not be our last :)) the food was delicious, the staff incredibly nice and professional. We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed a great meal. I

would highly recommend it to everyone :)

great food, great coffee. I've eaten at several local Vietnamese places, and Mekong is the best. Super clean and comfortable. I had grilled chicken, which was fresh and tasty. Great sauce and perfect rice. The vietnamese iced coffee was the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come by again.

Great vietnamese. Wow, I have been so impressed with this restaurant since it opened. The Pho is delicious, even though it is not mentioned on the menu, it is fantastic. The restaurant is also very modern and clean portrying a very cool contemporary styleing. All the other dishes are great as well. Spring rolls fantastic, vermicelli noodles with grilled chicken amazing! Seriously do not miss out on this SE Gem!

So Fresh and So Delicious. All I can say is that I have kept coming back to Mekong because it is simply delicious. Usually I will be sitting in my office and this urge will come over me to consume Pho', then I immideatly get in my car and go straight to Mekong. I have been to many other Pho' and vietnamese restaurants around the city and Mekong is up there with the best of them. Not to mention the service is polite and helpfull, prices are good, and the ambiance is clean and modern meets classic vietnamese culture. Surprisingly the pho is not even mentioned on there menus, but trust me they have plenty of it, with fresh bean sprouts and basil leaves. They also have many other great dishes like lemongrass chicken with vermiccelli noodles over salad and some of the tastiest salad rolls around with succulent peanut sauce. I LOVE IT!!!!! Just go there and find out for your self!!!!!!

THE BEST Beef Pho!!! Impressive Customer Service! Nice Quite Spot.. I have tried a number of restaurants Beef Pho, but I really have to tell everyone to try Mekongs! Besides just the awesome food (definitely hook up the spring rolls too!) they are super nice people who truly enjoy what they do. The place is clean, great location and they have a nice reflection of their culture on the wall in an interesting way. Definitely would recommend this to anyone, ESPECIALLY on a cold wet day, grab a bowl of some Pho and it will warm you right up! Customer for life!

Great Addition to the Neighborhood!. Mekong is great! The food is reasonably priced and very good. We were greeted with a smile from the gal who took our order at the counter. The ambiance is relaxing-lots of bamboo with an open airy feeing. Pho is not listed on the website menu (nor on the take out menu), but was listed on the wall menu. Great Vermicelli bowls and salad rolls! The only (small) complaint--limited beverage selection. Welcome to the neighborhood-we hope you are here to stay!!
