Amazing food at reasonable prices. I LOVE the Blue Moose. I am vegan and my boyfriend is not and we both love this place. They have a lot of great choices on the menu plus daily specials. Their soups are amazing. If you go, try the Moose Bark for dessert -- it's like a rice crispy treat with peanut butter and chocolate.

The staff are friendly and the prices very affordable. The ambiance isn't fancy but this is a cafe, after all. Located in trendy NE Fremont area, across the street from Stanich's.

Please support this great restaurant.

I am not a vegeterian.. Nope, not a vegeterian. But I eat at Blue Moose on a pretty regular basis. Why? Because the food is awesome. They have soups everyday and you get a little sample before you order so you know if it's what you want or not. The salads are excellent (the one with the tofu and walnuts rocks) and the dressings are home made. They have great creative dishes and always a unique special. The folks who work there are super friendly and make an effort to be familiar with the regulars. All around it is a nice experience even if you are a meat eater.

What a great place!. Aside from the uncommonly attractive employees (no kidding, they're all really good looking) the real draw here is the food. Vegeterian restaurants tend to be bland and boring. Not so with the Blue Moose. The soups are perfect for that cold winter day. Everything has a very home-made taste without being anything like the crud mom served. They have very nice beverages ranging from three kinds of iced tea to hot chai to good beer to strawberry lemonade. The portions are never stingy, the employees are nice, the atmosphere is totally unpretentious, clean and pleasant. And did I mention that EVERYONE who works there is exceptionally attractive. But really, I go there for the food. Really.

Awesome food. Fantastic service.. The Blue Moose has gradually become my favorite restaurant in town. Sure there are lots of good places to eat, but if the Moose were to close I would be truly heartbroken. The food is so good that non-vegetarians eat there often. They have two great fresh soups everyday and they serve little samples so you can decide which one suits you. I get the sense that the owner just makes up the recipes on the spot so they're always a little different and they're always good. But if one of the soups of the day doesn't float your boat there are breakfast burritos, awesome sandwiches, huge platters of beans and rice and veggies, even killer pancakes. I've eaten just about everything on the menu at this point and have never had a bad meal or a grumpy waitperson.

The employees and the owner are always kind and attentive without being overly bothersome. In short, I have nothing but good to say for this cute little veggie diner.

We love you Blue Moose!

Most delicious veg food in the neighborhood.. I love blue moose. The food is great, the service is always amazingly friendly and fast, and I love the atmosphere. Totally cute place with totally delicious food. I high recommend the daily scrambles and the soups. I like to get a quart of soup to go, because I am always left wanting more later. While they are mostly vegan, they do have some options for adding cheese, etc, if that is your thing.
