Save your Time & Money. Took a friend to lunch at the Blossoming Lotus, which I had heard about on a TV program one morning. I've never eaten vegan food but the chefs on the program made it looked like a wonderful experience. When we finally found the NE 15th location, we drove around and around to find a parking spot, which ended up being 6 blocks away. We waited to be seated, even though clean, empty tables were available. The wait was about 15 min. When we were finally seated, the prices were a bit high for lunch fare (with no meat). Nonetheless, I wanted soup and salad and tried to order that. The waitress said to me, "You may not like the soup and wait until your waiter tells you the choice", I looked at my friend and remarked, "This doesn't bode well". He came over to our table and told it was a peach and something soup, served cold. COLD?? Never heard of such a thong and then (I kid you not) he replied in a haughty tone, "It's actually quite common now." Well excuse me, but no thanks. We left. The whole vibe of the place seemed snooty and arrogant. For the money involved, I can get better service and choices at my favorite Tibetan restaurant on SE Woodstock, where we eventually went to enjoy curry chicken and vegetable dishes. I will NEVER go back to that restaurant!

Disappointing dinner!. I have had good experiences at their location in the Pearl, so tried out their new eastside location last night for dinner. I was very disappointed and do not plan to return. The food was just not very good, and this mediocrity came at a pretty high price. The service was incredibly slow, and they were out of half of the items that we tried to order. All in all, it was a frustrating, expensive, and not very tasty experience.
