don't ask the manager ...
by sabrina1977 at Citysearch
Manager was completely rude to people at the table next to us. There was a question about the bill ( over charging for drinks), the manager flipped out and grabbed money from one of the girl's hand. We were all in complete shock to be witnessing such bizarre behavior from the manager at Bay 13.
Will NEVER recommend this place again!! Great job manager on loosing your cool... you have lost lots of future business.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: horrible service!!
Awful overpriced food
by 97239 at Citysearch
Went on a Sunday evening and ordered almost 1 of everything from the menu. The mussels were fishy tasting and we got a refund. The sushi rolls had small fish bones in them. The rest of the food was overpriced, mediocre at best. Not worth the money and the seafood was not fresh. Would never go back again.
- Pros: Nice servers
- Cons: Bad seafood
Awesome Happy Hour !
by your_best_friend at Citysearch
The food at Happy Hour is unique and priced so right. Had the green beans: would have never guessed I'd get addicted due to the savory sweet/sour glaze that they are flashed in via the super hot wok. They are like healthy green french fries; got two orders for the four of us. Also, the spicy tuna has just enough heat to allow the flavor to shine through. We sat on the outdoor patio and really enjoyed how the furniture is set up: made new friends that night since the set up outside is very social and welcomes conversation. Come Spring, the patio is going to be the best real estate in the Pearl. Certainly going back and highly recommended to anyone who's always wondered but never went. Stop reading and GO !
- Pros: Outdoor seating, heat lamps & furniture setup = easy social
- Cons: Always a Catch22 = great crowds require patience at the bar
