Don't Get Treated Like I did!. I went in to Altered nation now use to be Alteration Nation so don't get fooled! I have spent much money in this place for advents and promos for my business and Now new owners are cheap rip offs they are making things at home and trying to sale like a craft shop! I was told a few weeks ago when I spent 365.00 in there store bring it back if I am not happy per quote by Pat the owner and I did just that brought the hand made goods back and they denied me my money and I even said you are treating a good customer like crap! No signs posted of no returns or anything. So I tell you save your money you will be treated like crap and they smile to your face and its not true there is Naked City better product good sevice if your not happy you can return and there not buying at thrift stores and marking the price up. Also Metro has a amazing selection of shoes, clothes ect so no need to waste your money with a store that is fake condesending to you and I did let them know I would consider this discimination due to the fact I have returned a item before from a local artist that the owner Nina said made cheap stuff but yet they sell it well you see what I mean go in and look at the store looks like trailer trash. Dont waste your money please do your self a favour ok. Now they want to put a piecer in there are you kidding me if you get something from the trash in there no thank you and when your not happy they say dont come back in. This has all been witnissed ok watch out for the way you will be treated pass it on and warn the community you will be sorry People like this should not be able to breath air!  View Less View More

WORST Customer Service!!. My husband and I just went in for our first (and last) visit. Know that I am not making any of this up; I couldn't if I tried. We are greeted and we start looking around. For the next five minutes we are subjected to some guy sitting behind the counter, on a laptop, relaying a story to the female employee about how drunk he and his friend were and how she "fell on her ass" and "how f*ed up she was" except he didn't abbreviate his language. How nice! Mind you, this place is TINY! You can't help but hear everything. She does ask my husband if he needs help with the music,($20-ish price range), but she doesn't ask me, who is looking at dresses upward of $100. Finally we decide to leave but I am waiting to get a business card for some additional information and her friend is talking a blue streak and won't shut up and she won't tell him to shut up so we leave! And, I'm betting these "good" reviews, posted by friends. They have to be.  View Less View More

Irresponsible Business Habits. I took a brand new t-shirt to be hemmed. I never received a call when it was done. I dropped by a couple times and they were closed when the hours on the door said they should be open. I eventually called and the young woman wasn't in. At my insistance, the guy took my number and called her about my shirt then called back to say it would be ready in 2 days. I went in a week later. She was not there. The guy called her and she had no record of me or my shirt. He took my info and said she would call me on "Monday," That was a month ago...no call. Obviously she lost my shirt and doesn't even realize it. It was a $36 shirt from a specialty shop. But more frustrating than the loss of the shirt and the money is the time I spent dealing with it and she's never had the common decency to call me back!  View Less View More

Friendly store; huge selection. I'm a performer, and am always looking for outfits to wear onstage. I was floored when I found a floor-length vintage evening gown for $10. I get compliments on it all the time, and have since bought several other great pieces there. I found the service to be attentive, and the store is clean and easy to navigate. You never know what you might find. I'm a little older than the average customer I saw there, but I felt very welcome.  View Less View More

RUDE SERVICE, CHEAP CLOTHES FELL APART AFTER WASHING IT ONCE. Very rude service! There are better places to shop without all the attitude. Bought a dress wore it once, washed it and it fell apart. There prices are low for a reason. Told a friend of mine about it and he put a deposit on a pair of boots to be ordered and they kept his deposit and he never got the boots. I'd never shop there again.  View Less View More
