GREAT! I went in 4 days ago for my first visit to urban waxx as well as my first wax on my lady area. The girls there were so friendly and welcoming, they were professional in all aspects and really knowledgeable. I really appreciated that they went over what to expect and side effects and everything without me having to ask. The place was clean and obviously well kept. I used to work in a salon where we offered waxing services so I tend to pay very close attention to sanitation laws/rules because I have heard all of the possible horrible outcomes of being unsanitary and the girl who waxed me followed every one to a T! She wasn't pushy about me booking my next appointment which I loved! I can't say enough good things about this place & would recommend it to anyone wanting a wax! For something that was very scary they made it as pleasant as possible and I will definitely be returning for future services!

LOVE. I used to work at UW... actually, I was one of the original team members :) Now, I have the lovely experience of being on the client side of all things Urban Waxx! It is a wee bit surreal arriving and having a seat in the lobby... not that I mind the tasty snacks and beverages!

Don't think for one hot second that because I am UW alumni that this review is less legit... if anything, I hold things to an even higher standard, being both an Esthetician and a former UW team member.

Walking into UW, being greeted with such cheery, ladies I can't help but smile... here you are among friends. Seriously. The service is professional, graceful and kind... so refreshing these days!

Miss Megan gave me my Brazilian yesterday and, as always, she did a FANTASTIC job!!! Fast as a snap, yet perfectly thorough... hooray! Thank you Megs, I always wish it took longer so we could keep chatting :)

Great Experience. I went here last weekend for my first wax and the experience was fantastic. I was nervous at first but after about 1 minute with Megan, the nerves were gone.

The entire staff was friendly, offering me a glass of wine within a moment of being there. As soon as I entered the wax room, and Megan started talking, I was at ease. She jumped right in with conversation keeping my mind elsewhere asking questions and genuinely interested in me.

I look forward to a long wax relationship there - I don't have a single negative thing to say about it. Even parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon!

I will switch all my waxing needs to Urban Waxx.!

Couldn't have asked for a better first. I got my very first Brazilian last month. I decided if I had to deal with razor bumps one more time I was going to shoot something, I'm not shy, I hate body hair and I have a high pain tolerance so waxing seemed like a great option. I looked around for awhile and Urban waxx seemed like my best bet. I got there a bit early and they were extremely nice and helpful. The place was gorgeous, I felt extremely comfortable there. A very pretty girl showed me over to the waiting area and offered me something to drink as soon as I walked in. The girl I got was Adriana. She wasn't who I was originally booked for, but I don't see how the other girl could have possibly been any more amazing than her, we ended up chatting the whole time and it really flew by. She was super detail oriented and made sure EVERYTHING was gone, even taking the time to use tweezers on what the wax didn't get. I'm not gonna lie, it did hurt, but not badly and only towards the middle. In the beginning it stung a little and during the last bit I barely felt it. They use hard wax, so they can go over a spot multiple times which equals: totally spotless. I was incredibly happy with the results, it was only two or three weeks ago that I started even getting stubble and it was super soft. Zero razor bumps, I'm now a waxing addict. Adriana is the best and I wish I was in oregon right now so I could see her for maintenance, asking for her personally next time I am.

BEST. Getting a Brazilian isnt the most fun thing to do but these girls ROCK and make you feel right at home...even if you are naked from the waist down!

Wonderful servive. I went in for my first eyebrow wax at the Tanasbourne location. The ladies there were very nice, and my waxer (sara) suggested I do a couple other areas and even threw in some small area free. She tweezed a few stray hairs and then when I asked for a little more off my eyebrows she gladly did it.

The atmosphere is nice and the service is nice. It's worth the extra couple bucks to come here than any ol' salon :D

great first brazilian. i just had my first brazilian tonight with Megan and she was awesome. I was a little tipsy from the wine they gave me in the waiting room, and she was very nice about it. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt like hell (heard it gets easier but first time is a doozy), but she was so nice by putting up with my yelps and i believe I even grabbed her wrist once and she was very cool about it! I couldn't help it! It was instinct!! haha. but i could tell she was trying to engage me in conversation to distract me from any pain, and that was much appreciated.

anyways, great place. definitely would go back. and they even gave me a discount for mentioning on the intake form that I found out about UW from citysearch - very cool.

good waxing. Let's just say, they do a good clean service here. I've been to many spas that do not have clean tables or let me leave with hair still stuck to me ankle or knee. Thanks for doing good clean work ladies.!

The best wax... Seriously.. L.O.V.E Urban Waxx! Tried many other waxxing places before finding this sweet little place! Jenny has been my Esthetician for nearly two years now, and she is the best! She is prompt, friendly and cleary loves what she does! I can't imagine going any place else !

I reccomend this to anyone and everyone. If you want the best waxx, go to Urban Waxx! Like their slogan,

"the best waxx you'll ever have, seriously."
