Beauty Mark

Best Facial in Portland. I am not generally someone to spring and pamper myself but I found a deal on Mobba for a 75 min facial for $35 (!!!) and thought I'd give it a try. Its a very small spa but that's what makes it intimate and so relaxing. When I went I was the only client there and had such specialized attention. She brought up ideas about my skin that I'd never even thought to mention or address and she made sure to educate me through the entire way -- not in a non relaxing way though. I was so comfortable and felt beautiful afterward even with no make up on. I told her up front that I had found the deal online and expected her to maybe skimp a little on my treatment since I wasn't paying full price but she went up and above my expectations -- seriously surpassing the service I had when I payed full price at a well known Portland Spa.

I highly recommend that people try at least one of their services, I will definitely be back -- you definitely need to experience Beauty Mark to understand why they get such high marks!

The greatest!. I love Beauty Mark! They are in a cute space above the Green MicroGym on Alberta. You might wonder if blasting pump-you-up gym music can be heard from below? NOPE! Thank goodness! Brazilians may seem scary (not the people, silly - the waxing), but Rebecca puts you at ease while skillfully tidying up the lady bits.

A feeling of calm and quiet fills the wonderfully scented space and I appreciate the down-to-earth attitude.

If you are calling to make an appointment but hear the voicemail come on, don't worry - leave a message. You will get a call back the same day, often within less than an hour. They are always prepared for your arrival and appointments happen on time.

Since this is a small studio, you will not hear the horrifying sound of screaming hair dryers, risk personal exposure in a drafty or crowded waiting area or witness the rolling eyes of a snotty receptionist who can't seem to get off the phone. ALL ABSENT! Instead, you can expect to enjoy calm, unrushed, personalized service.

The price is well worth the smooooth results, especially since there are no razor burns/bumps.

Best wax ever!!!. I never ever write these reviews, but here goes... Beauty Mark is one of those great, well-kept secrets in PDX. They barely have a sign, but it's totally worth finding at the corner of 15th and Prescott in NE.

It's adorable inside and ever since my first appt. I've been smitten!! Danielle is the owner and she rocks. They sort of specialize in waxing, facials, etc. and it's not like going to some greater-than-thou spa. You're the only one there and Danielle is as attentive to my brows as she is to my phobia of hair-plucking! I've never felt so comfortable and relaxed when getting myself beautified. I heart Danielle big time!

If you don't know where to go for a wax of any kind, Beauty mark should be at the top of your list. Even the parking was easy.

Who says waxing can't be a pleasure?. I've been going to Beauty Mark for almost a year and have gotten everything from a brow wax to a brazilian. Rebecca has given me AMAZING eyebrows and I even get compliments on them. She makes you feel very comfortable and the environment is very clean and calm. I really look forward to coming in to chat too, she makes that extra effort to make the process fun and as painless as possible. I recommend waxing over shaving your bikini area and I recommend you have Rebecca do it for you!…
