I thought this was going to be a great local and family owned business to support, but during the delivery of my refrigerator extensive damage was done to my wood floors. The owner came to look at the damage, took responsibility for it and we agreed that the company would reimburse me for the damage that was done. When I went to the store to pick up the check the owner informed me that he had talked to a lawyer or insurance agent and was not obligated to reimburse me for anything. He agreed that his company damaged my property but had decided that he was not going to take responsibility for it despite our verbal agreement. This is the first time I have ever encountered this type of attitude in Portland and was very taken aback. Very disappointing and I do not recommend that you support this business.
Cons: bad customer service that does not take responsibility for damage to personal property
