I agree with Nyki N. below, I never feel like a pay check to the practitioners at NPWC. I am always impressed and taken a back when at the start of each appointment I am asked how is my body and they actually wait for an answer and delve into the the things I mention as well as bring up other areas for me to consider talking about. I don't go consistently for various reasons but I consistently return when I need to address something. I have been a client at NPWC for the past 4 years.

Highly recommended place, these guys are all about taking care of people instead of making a paycheck like other places I've been. Will definitely be returning!

Dr. Keenan Burgardt, Chiropractic Specialist, has continued my healing with his individualized treatment plan. In fact, when he suggested that I could lessen my appt., I was very apprehensive ~~~ but it's true!! He listens to my aches and pains, then proceeds to address that concern. I am so pleased I continued on with him since Dr. Simmons was transferred out.

And Ann Marie, receptionist, is still the best smiling face to greet me each time. She is competent with all questions and oh, so pleasant and helpful.

I also visit Mary Chen, acupunture, for my back.

These two people have made me feel wonderful again!

No more Advil for me!! And this location is easy to find and park even though I come from Beaverton!!

I have nothing but good things to say about North Portland Wellness Center. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing and their prenatal massages are excellent.

Super calm and lovely atmosphere. NPWC is only a couple of blocks from my house as well. I have had the best massage ever. I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere at North Portland Wellness Center is lovely - it is quiet and relaxing and the building has been renovated beautifully. My experiences with staff have been great. My most recent visit was for a massage with Ario. He listened to what I wanted and I felt so much better after my massage. I already made my next appointment!

Great local health center; very professional, kind, helpful staff and therapists. My massage was not the usual super workout, jabbing into the tissue, but very relaxing and therapeutic! thanks for being in the neighborhood!!

I absolutely LOVE this place in every way. Tiffany Ueltschi is a fantastic massage therapist and has helped me so much with my tendonitis over the last few months. I also recently started seeing Maura Dawgert for acupuncture and she is excellent as well.

In addition, I can't say enough good things about the front desk/billing staff; they're always so friendly and have been very prompt and helpful with processing my insurance claims (something I can't say for other naturopathic clinics I've been to). The space itself is beautiful and relaxing; it's always the highlight of my day whenever I come to NPWC for an appointment.

When I arrived for my massage I was told to wait upstairs. 25 minutes later I walked back downstairs because no one had come to get me. I was informed that the therapist wasn't there and could I wait in the waiting room while the receptionist talked with the owner. 5 minutes later I was asked to keep waiting. After another 5 minutes I walked up to the front desk, tired of being shuffled between waiting rooms. The receptionist apologized and explained that the owner would give me 50% my next appointment. I explained I was using the Chinook coupon (already buying 2 massages) and she tried to get me to agree to buy another!? When I asked if I could use the 50% discount toward the Chinook purchase she said she didn't know and asked me to wait. At that point I had already wasted nearly 45 minutes and I said no. She said she'd call me when she found out. Nothing yet. Frustrating, rude, unacceptable.

The center is convenient to the North Portland area and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
