Returning Customer, Got Highlights, VERY Happy With Results!. Beautiful, professional beauty salon; great environment. I had my hair trimmed, layered and highlighted twice at Aveda by Courtney. I was VERY happy with the results both times. My haircut turned out just the way I wanted, and looks fabulous! My first time getting highlights, I was scared to get it done, but was not disappointed. The trim and highlights were expensive, but it was worth the money! These people know what they're doing! I now live in Tigard, but make the pilgrimage every 4-5 months to get my hair done by Courtney.

Verry Pleased. I picked Vata out of the phone book because it was in walking distance to my office. I had an upcoming wedding and my hair had been destroyed by years of dyeing.

I could not have been happier with the haircut ,color, and customer service. Courtney took into consideration my particular hair when suggesting a cut, and the color was amazing. In fact other sylists came by and commented on the beautiful highlights.

I think I paid a little more then other salons ive been t, but it was definitley well worth it!

Happy Happy Happy. This is a professional and lovely place-i found better that Dosha-and the prices at Dosha are not worth your time. They might give you a hand massage, but that is not worth 25 more dollars for 5 minutes.

The salon is smaller, however the one on one attention is fabulous.

They know what they are doing.. After reading the good reviews (and figuring the bad ones are either from generally grumpy people or ex employees trying to get even) I decided to give this place a try. I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere a little more trendy and up to date. While the rest of Vancouver is severely lacking in trendiness this place hits the nail on the head, I could tell the gal that did my hair knew what she was doing. She spoke with knowledge about the products and showed me how to re-create my hairstyle at home. Front desk people were friendly and didn't try to cram a sale down my throat. So all in all I think this is a great place for cut and color and you should at least give it a try once.

AVOID VATA AT ALL COST!. They have the worst customer service. I have never been treated so badly before in my life. The stylist are rude and disrespectful to the point of being discriminating.

The owner Holly may verywell be a nice stylist but she is a horrible person to give store complaints to. I cannot see how the mall would allow them to get away with these anticts. She is obviously new to owning a business and it shows. She is going to lose customers (what we told her) BUT she obviously does not care (she gave this feeling to us). I will Never EVER EVER go there again and I recommend you do not either. Try 22 changes off of Mill plain. VATA IS HORRIBLE!

Best of Vancouver. After reading the other reviews on city search i gave the salon a chance and was not let down. Im always freaked out when going to a new salon so this was a big leap for me and I am so glad I did.

Very Pleased.. Ive been going to Aveda Salon for many years and regardless of what City im in I seek them out knowing 9 times out of 10 I will love my hair. They have met my Aveda expectations.

They Cut My Curls Right!. Seen the salon in the mall and on a refferal from a makeup person in Nordstroms I entrusted my curls to them and they came up all 10s. Classy salon, nice staff, great stylist!
