Tried this salon based on recommendations, but I was very disappointed. They say they book you with " a lot of time" with a skilled stylist, and a color consultant will be available but they don't. The young gal I saw only have time do an all over color or highlights but not both. So with a colorline I was forced to do an all over color to get rid of the colorline, but it looks very, very colored. I didn't get the weaved in dimensional color I wanted. Not the best of Clark County by any means, especially for $180!

Both myself and my husband have been loyal fans of Jenne Grogg for years; I know we're not the only ones. Due to the fact that she's consistently booked, we were shocked to have learned that she was recently fired after 6 yrs.with Vata. Good luck without her!!!

Carrie was amazing!. After many trials and tribulations of hairdressers that wouldnt listen what I wanted or couldnt execute what i wanted Carrie knocked it out of the park!

STAY AWAY. My hair got butched yesterday, and they requested I come back to have it "fixed" by the person who did it, (who obviously does not know what they are doing) or pay more money to have someone else repair it. That's their customer service!

Classy from top to bottom!. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly staff. The salon was beautiful and my stylist was fabulous with my highlights and cut. I will be recommending many friends and family!

Fabolous Hilights and hair cut!. This was my first time at an aveda salon and I see why everyone raves about it! I was so happy to finally find someone that did my hair exactly how I like and asked for it!

5 out of 5. I had my hi lights and hair cut there and was so happy I did. Its a few dollars more then most places but well worth it. The girl listened carefully and asked the right questions and surpassed my hopes. Its been a while since that's happened!

By far the best in Clark County. Ive been going to Vata for a year now and have had amazing results with the 2 stylists ive seen. Ive tried other salons in Vancouver & Camas with no success. I went to Vata on a referral and dont see ever leaving. I highly suggest trying them at least once!

Amazing...... So far I have seen two stylists for my cut and hilights and I was very impressed both times. I would not have a problem reffering friends and family.

Great cuts, beautiful color. I tried Vata because of the Aveda name, and I keep going back because these stylists really know what they are doing!

Katie does an awesome, thorough job and doesn't skimp on the time she spends with each client. You'll get a beautiful cut. And color is amazing! I've never trusted a salon to do my color before, but after Katie gave me several excellent cuts, I recently went in and said, "give me color". I let her choose what would look good on me, and she ROCKED it.

Now I get compliments all the time, because the color she chose is so beautiful, brings out my eyes, and makes my skin tone look lovely.
