i was ripped off

I joined this gym and had a free 30 min session with a trainer which i thought would be showing me how to use the machines etc... it actually was a tactic to get me signed up for personal training, at first I was interested but they always have these offers just "for today".

I told the girl Brittany that i wasnt sure how much money I had in my checking account so I couldnt sign up that day, she brought the manager over, Dave and he tried to get me to upgrade my membership to"save me money" and i told him the same thing that i would have to let them know the next day how much I could afford to have taken out of my account to set up the sessions with a trainer.

He ran the full amount-227.22 out of my account and I went into overdraft, he called and left a message, said he was going to run my paperwork and I called him back and left him a message saying i changed my mind and didnt want to do it anymore. He says he didnt get the message although i left it on his personal voicemail number that he wrote on his business card- even said "oh go on and do it if you overdraft we will cover the charges for you." I felt really pressured and i didnt want to bounce a check in the first place thats why i said i dont know whats in my account.

so now im in dispute with them i dont know what im going to do this has cost me over 400 so far and now the money for a service i dont want will taken out of my account every month. i am just sick over it and cant sleep or concentrate on much else. I feel like I was ***** by these people, you would think a company this large would have more ethics than this.
