Warning!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!.
My wife and mother went into the grill and have never had a bad experience there. That is until today! With noone behind my mother, who is here visiting and helping with my wife who just had surgery, they went to lunch at the Bajio Grill.
My mother was deciding on what to eat since she had never eaten there before. John then stated rudely "Come on lady I don't have all day to wait".
Shocked my wife said "why are you talking to her like that"?
My wife then asked for the manager which John told her he was the manager. So she asked for the owner and the manager then derided my wife stateing that "the owner is his brother so what are you gonna do".
Normally I don't do this but to disrespect customers in such a fashion is beyond not ok..........
So no knock on the food but if you want a opportunity to be yelled at, mocked, treated like an dimwit, or just plain want to feel like crud go have a great time ordering at eating at the Bajio on Johnson Creek!
If you like Chipotle, you can't go wrong here..
It's not often that we find ourselves in Clackamas, but we recently made the trip to do some big-box window shopping. Needing some sustenance right then, we found ourselves at Bajio Grill more by convenience than by plan.
Bajio Grill is a casual spot for eat-in or take-out. Their tag-line is "Inspired Mexican," but I'm not so sure that is really accurate. What you really have here is standard a la cart cafeteria-style service much like Chipotle, Pepino's, and Baja Fresh, consisting of a small menu with several bottled beers available. I'm sure there are better sit-down Mexican restaurants nearby along 82nd, but Bajio succeeds with their open and clean space, decent portions and fast service.
This is a franchised enterprise, and so far, it is the only one in Oregon. The comparison to Chipotle is really the best way to describe Bajio Grill, so expect the same experience. There is some comfort in watching your food be prepared in front of you, and along the line you can choose your burrito's contents and sides. You'll find that, like in many similarly styled restaurants, their hottest salsa will hardly make an impression on your tongue's heat index. Perhaps anticipating this complaint, several bottled hot sauces are available to up the temperature.
Overall a good experience, and we walked out extremely full, even with leftovers in hand. A good value for the price and portions.
