Wonderful Experience!!! Kitty has
done my pedicures in the past, and I enjoyed them. Today I had the deluxe pedicure, $40. The salon is now using Cuccio Naturale, products as seen in Nails Magazine. Top of the line produts, my legs and feet feel like silk.
Kitty wrapped my legs with hot towels and at the same time put my feet into my own personal wax bags. They have done away with the community wax pot! A nice long massage , very relaxing. After all that she painted my nails and I was ready to go.
Thank you, Kitty!!!
Best Pedicure ever for the price!. I got did the $40 pedicure last fall (2010) before a trip and it was the best pedicure I have ever had because it was the only one that finally got some of the hard dry skin off my feet so my entire foot looked better - and still does a year later. You are not paying for the massage- you are paying for a more intense pedicure with liquids that help slough off dead skin and more rubbing and scrubbing. The massage and hot wax are just nice extras. I have been to expensive salons where the cost is much more which did nothing to really improve my feet long term - just maybe had a nicer location, a glass of wine, and a perfumed foot bath. Hands down this is the best deal for really getting some improvement to your feet. But you may have to tell them what you need - they probably won't work as hard on your feet as the gal that I had worked on mine unless you ask because they don't want you to complain afterwards about a little redness and the mild pain that this will require - but it is worth it and not that uncomfortable that I really minded - I just wanted pretty feet. (Note - I went to the Imbrie location. There is another salon with this name on NE 48th - can't comment on that location.)
Friendly. Friendly and talented these girls did my nails for 6 months or so until I moved out and I needed to start saving money. They knew my name and were very nice to me. Very talented.

TERRIBLE!!!. Have you noticed a theme to these comments? They are all negative as was my total experience at Gorgeous Nails. The manicure was really bad, chipping after about two days and the sad part was I got the manicure for my daughter's wedding! The gal who did my nails and eyebrow wax kept pushing me to do more. I tried to contact them via email twice but was ignored both times, finally I went in there and was totally brushed off!! I will never go back and I hope anyone reading this will choose not to go there!!
I received a Gorgeous Nails gift certificate for a pedicure valued at $25.00. On their menu of services a pedicure is listed as being $25.00. Cool. I schedule an appointment for 5pm and arrive 5 minutes early. I was immediately greeted when I walked in by a woman all the way across the room who didn't even look up from her work. She said "Hi, pick a color." So I picked Red. Then I sat and waited for 25 minutes. On a side note, it's 90 degrees outside and they won't turn on the air conditioning, making it uncomfortably warm inside. As I'm about to get up to leave a woman comes and brings me back to a chair where I sit with my feet in no warmer than room temperature water for another 25 minutes. Finally someone comes and starts to massage my legs and ignores my attempts to make polite conversation and chats with the other technicians. So I picked up a magazine. She asks if I want flowers. I decline. No more than 5 minutes later she has completed her absolute rush job and I look down from my magazine to see french tips on my toes. NOT red like I had picked out. I even placed the color I wanted on the technicians chair. How much more clear could it get? I say "Actually I had asked for red. That shade right there" And I pointed to the tray she was working from. She nodded and smiled. Then she handed me a box with the nail file toe separators she had used in it and walked me over to a chair up front and put a fan on my toes. Clearly making no attempt to rectify the color mistake. And there I sat, forgotten about, for another 40 minutes. 3 other people came and went from the drying station before I was finally remembered. My feet were dipped in the paraffin wax and left for 3 minutes, then I was ushered up front to pay. I am told my total is $37.00. (remember that their menu of services states that a pedicure is $25)
"For what?" I ask. "For flower." "I didn't get flowers." I say. She looks at my toes and says "Okay, 32." "For what??" I say. "French tip" I proceed to explain to her that I didn't even ask for the french tips, I asked for red and was ignored when I spoke up. I handed her my gift certificate. She takes it and mutters something in Korean to the woman next to her, then tells me I still owe her $2.00. "FOR WHAT??" I ask. "Nail kit." Turns out the box with the nail file and my toe separators in it is called a nail kit and I have to purchase it. I just paid for my pedicure, why on earth do I have to pay for the tools they used that, by the way, DO NOT ADD UP TO 2 DOLLARS. Why don't they just raise the price of the pedicure if they're going to be that cheap?? I pull out my card to pay this ridiculous fee and she tells me that she can't charge just $2 I have to pay cash. I inform her that I don't have any cash and she tells me to buy some nail polish so I can use my card. "...No." I say.
She angrily tells me I can come back tomorrow and pay. "Fine." I say, and march out. I will NEVER go back. For anything.
Worst pedicure experience ever!. I went to the location by the Hillsboro Costco. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 2pm appointment and was not greeted when I walked in. I waited 10 minutes for someone to come get me for my pedicure. After I was sat in my pedicure chair with my feet in the water (which was barely warm), I sat there alone for 25 minutes! I started to dry off my feet toleave, but they assured me someone would be right with me... finally a technician, came to do my pedicure. She did not speak to me, she did not smile... just did the fastest, rush-job pedicure I've ever received. I noticed 2 other women waiting for a long time as well. They were very understaffed the day I was there and were obviously taking walk-ins ahead of the people with appointments. The worst managed salon I've ever been to. Don't go!!!!
