Taking mall food to a new low. I tried this place once because I was at the mall on other business. Never again. I got shrimp and mushroom yakisoba, which consisted of a bunch of cabbage, noodles, mushrooms and tiny shrimp tossed onto the grill and barely steamed through while being drenched in oil and flavorless sauce. I got some kind of frozen spring roll that was also flavorless. No soy sauce was offered, which might have helped. Free hot sauce allowed me to consume enough of the meal to get out of there. Did I mention this "cooked" to order meal took 15 minutes? Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else for noodles, at least.

Freshly cooked Japanese cuisine in a mall.. Sarku Japan & sushi bar offer a wide array of sushi products hand prepared and made to order for each customer. They also do fresh chicken, beef, seafood and fresh garden vegetables, all prepared on a Teppanyaki griddle right in front of you.

The prices are very good and the Manager at the Washington Square store cares about the quality of the food. In fact my wife has said they make some of the best fresh Sushi & California rolls she has ever had.

Even food court food can be good......
