Come for therapy, stay for friendship. This is not your typical pottery painting place with bad brushes, screaming kids and bored, texting kids running the place. George and Joni Kuhlman run a top notch retreat where you can dabble at a craft under their expert advise, sip a glass of wine, or order in food to enjoy while you paint.

I brought my skeptical, resistant husband here 3 years ago and after his first visit he was hooked. RPF is on our list of things to do whenver family are in town or we have a special guest. Tonight we are headed over just because it is fun, relaxing and we enjoy visting with George and Joni.

My bathroom has soap dishes, our family each has their own pasta bowls, and a number of other pieces we have done make our home real and personal and evoke good memories of time spent together in conversation and creativity.

Located in the Pearl its an easy walk or streetcar ride from downtown or a drive from the suburbs. Well worth a visit.

LOVE this place!. Groupon led me to discover this fantastic studio in the Pearl. George and his wife are absolutely wonderful when they walk you through the various activities you can enjoy at this place. You definitely do not need to be an expert to play with paint here. I have taken several friends to try painting on ceramic and the finished results blew us away. We were so excited to see our pottery fired, glazed and as good as something you'd find in an artsy store in the neighbourhood.

This place is the perfect venue for a date, activity night with friends, family time or simply some quality alone-time when you need to just get away from things and enjoy tapping your creativity.

From the steady stream of happy faces walking in and out of this studio, I know I am not the only one who feels this way!

Fantastic experience, people and business!!. We recently went in to have our two small children make a plate with their handprints and had a world-class experience that we'll not forget! George and Joni, from the very first phone call, represented their business in a way that was encouraging to the tall task of these two busy toddlers. We arrived and the process was quick and easy and they even offered to add a little extra art to our plate since that was beyond my abilities! We picked up our plate and were POSITIVELY DELIGHTED with the finished product; we have a plate we'll keep forever and a great experience to remember too. We would absolutely recommend Ready Paint Fire to anyone and will be headed back again next year for a follow-up plate! Thank you George and Joni for running such a high integrity business!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!. We called around to a few pottery places in town and George was the MOST friendliest and accommodating with our party of nearly 20 gals. We wanted to throw our bride-to-be a FUN and unique bridal shower. With the economy the way it has been, it was really important to us that we give business to people who are sincere, genuine, and just plain nice. When we got there, George and Joni (the married owners) were so sweet and helped us set up our atmosphere. They already had our table neatly set up and we were able to pull off our “Tiffany” blue themed bridal shower with much success, thanks to their help. Our bride-to-be had such a great time and it meant a lot to us that we were able to do something fun, while still playing bridal shower games. Every single one of us created our own masterpiece to take home. Thanks to George and Joni, this will be a memorable bridal shower we won’t forget. I HIGHLY recommend you check out the place. Even if you don’t think you have an artistic bone in your body, you’ll find a way to have a lot of fun. A true family- friendly atmosphere as well! :o)
