Because vegans need breakfast for dinner, too. Sustainable, local eats like tofu scrambles, eggs and tempeh bacon, and "chicken" and waffles made with fried tofu. Omnivores have no fear, they've also got plenty of thick-cut bacon (the pork kind).

Known for their veg-friendly comfort food (they offer meat options as well)--especially those vegan corn dogs ($1 on Wed). The tofu-fallo wings are pretty tasty too.
something for everyone. Bot only is the food pretty good, but the vegan menu (which is extensive) is so good I wouldn't have known it was vegan if someone didn't tell me.
Had trouble parking my bike.
First of all, I love HTT. Don't get me wrong. Wednesday nights are the best. 1 dollar PBR tall boys. 1 Dollar Vegan corn dogs. Roll in with a fiver, get 3 drinks and a dog and tip a buck. Feeling good.
HOWEVER, lately it seems the secret is getting out. I had trouble finding a spot to lock up my 83 Schwinn Cruiser. Lucky I was wearing my tight jeans that night so I could squeeze through the crowd to get to the smoking patio. The place seems to be filling up with entitled hipsters lately. Hey we know you love the scene but if you moved here within the last 3 years, just leave us some space. (I've been in portland for 4 years now, so I know what I'm talking about.)
I think the bartenders get a little cracked out from the crowd sometimes. (or they just have the sniffles, if you know what I mean. I'm looking at you bartender with the glasses.)
Anyhow, great times when it isn't crowded and when the cops don't show up because of overcrowding and you happen to tell someone to stop buying their clothes at JC Penny.
Great food in casual atmosphere. I have been here three times in the last three weeks. I happened to stumble upon this bar/restaurant as I walked along 12th street and decided to give it a go. Personally, I love low-key atmospheres, and this place definitely fits the bill. I have ordered three very different entrees - a Texas cheeseburger, huevos rancheros, and their legendary mac and cheese. All three have been simple but very tasty with very large portions. I usually have a very hearty dinner and then have the leftovers for lunch the following day. It seems as though the cooks at the Hungry Tiger Too take pride in their offerings and really put time into each of their classic dishes. I want this place to be my "regular."
