Portland >Down To Earth Cafe
Great little spot for made-from-scratch breakfast burritos in Multnomah Village. The original comes PACKED with eggs, potatoes, peppers, cheese, tomato, and ham, topped with avocado, sour cream, and salsa. They've also got vegan, chicken, and steak options.
Lovely breakfast!. We love to go here for breakfast on the weekends. Sometimes its a little busy, but its worth it. The service is kind of lame, but coffee and good healthy food makes up for it. I recommend the Northwest Scramble and the Cowboy Scramble. The decor makes me wanna cry and its a really small dining room, but if you care more about quality ingredients and realistic portions, this is a great place to try.
Newbie Restaurant looking for "Love", Great Breakfast Spot for Two. "I must admit this cafe wasn't my first choice, but I'm sure glad we found it. We were in search of some place new for Breakfast...Mother's, Tom's Pancake House, and Elmer's were getting "old" so we decided to venture outside our comfort zone. I'd been to the Fat City Cafe for their ecletic atmosphere, which is crampt + speedy + but delicious. They were too busy on this Sunday morning...when we noticed this secret around the corner. Don't let the bright Yellow & White awning fool you, this is a great little cafe (restaurant). The touches here and there, show how much 'love' is in this family restaurant. Starting with the menu, 1st class, the usual fixings with great quality & burritos to top it off. Their Home Fries & Smoked Bacon are DELICIOUS! Try it out. Perfect for two. Also, I'm told it's a Persian restaurant by night."
I like the food, the service is usually quite slow. I love the emphasis on wholesome, organic ingredients, and the wide selection. However, I only go here when I have plenty of time and patience, as the staff not very efficient. Quite pleasant and friendly, however.
