Yummy BBQ!. Great family place. The food is good and the people are nice. We've never had poor quality food and my family of six always leaves stuffed!
I love it!. Since I found this place a month ago I've ordered take out at least 5 times! I think the food is great!! The ribs, beef, pork, chicken & the beans are the best!! I'll be back again & again!!!
Rib City Grill in Beaverton (not Vancouver store). The barbeque is pretty good, better than most chains available in the Portland metro area. I'd give it a B-. In terms of service, I went recently to place an order for carry out. I was extremely disappointed. The hostess chose to seat a group of 4 that had walked in about 30 seconds behind me, even after I told her I just wanted to place an order for carry out. Then, to rub salt into the wound, when she came back to the front counter, she chose to answer the telephone and help the caller, even though I was standing in front of her and waiting to place my order. I waited for another minute or so while she chatted away. I was on my lunch and didn't have time to be disregarded. Needless to say Rib City lost my business, and I'm not sure if I'll ever go back if that's how they treat their customers. Very dissatisfied, even though I enjoyed the slightly better than average barbeque. If you like being treated like garbage, eat at Rib City Grill.
Great BBQ in the 'Couv.
I heard glowing reviews for Rib City Grill from people at work. My husband and I went for dinner and we were very, very pleased. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The portions were huge. My husband is a big eater and he had to take home some leftovers!
We had the okra appetizer and I really enjoyed it. We ordered the special of the night - baby baby back ribs (not a type, baby baby). They were easy to eat, the bones fell away, the meat was flavorful and still juicy.
The baked beans were just OK, but after the big portion of meat we didn't have much room for sides!
Looking forward to trying the desserts. Next time maybe we'll split an entree or just plan to take half home.
The ambiance isn't fancy, but it is clean and pleasant and the background music isn't too loud. They have microbrews on tap.
Toughest ribs in Portland.
After reading several reviews, I decided to get a slab of St. Louis style ribs, beans, coleslaw and a slice of pecan pie to go.
I was surprised to see that they call 7 ribs a "full slab". Not only were they full of fat and grissle, they were so tough it was hard to bite the meat off them. The coleslaw was just bland shredded cabbage with a hint of ranch dressing. The beans were quite tasty, but way too watery. Good beans are scooped out, theirs can be poured like water. The pie was one of the worst I have ever had. Not only was it the smallest piece of pie I have ever been served in my life, it consisted of just crushed pecans and a gooey tar like center that kind of tasted like pecans. If there was a crust, I couldn't find it. They would be much better off getting their pies from beaverton bakery or even costco.
Next time I want a "full slab of ribs", I'll go to Claim Jumper.

Rib City - Beaverton.
Wasn't really that impressed and probably won't go again. The ribs were tasty enough but the rest of everything wasn't. I guess I was expecting more; it's really casual and they were out of onion rings (bummer!). The homemade cole slaw was nothing to write home about either.
We love ribs and I probably got my hopes up too high! The staff was friendly though!
Great BBQ! Very Good Prices. I was very impressed with this southern menu and pricing. The food came quickly and was very very tasty. I would recommend going during lunch it can get a bit busy in the evenings. You wont' walk away hungery from this place.
