The cozy pizzeria has put a twist on traditional pizza, serving a Chicago-style crust made with cornmeal with West Coast-style toppings. The toppers include most of the usual suspects, as well as creative stand-ins such as whole kernel corn. Many of the pies aren't made with sauce but have some sweetness or acid in lieu of the tomato flavor. For dessert try the Zucotto--a chilled chocolate whippedcream cake with crushed biscotti and lady finger crust. Par-baked pies are also available to take home.

I ordered the Coppa special: ham, provolone-I think, green olives and a garlic/spicy seasoning. It was very yummy, but too salty also the crust was a bit too hard for my little one. I liked that it was harder than most crusts, but wish it had been a little softer,, for both of our sakes. The flavors were all delicious. Thought it would've been good with some fresh tomato to cut the salt lick effect, it was yummy that way. A bummer to be charged for a tiny dish of diced tomato, but these days I guess a restaurant needs to be tight with these kinds of things.... Would be great if they offered a kids menu with a couple of food options and milk/juice or something like that. Lots of hungry families out there!

I don't know if I was especially hungry or not but this pizza was the best damned pizza I've had in years. Wonderful crust, numerous topping choices and oh-so-tasty. My slice had delicious, smoky ham, mozarella, garlic, carmelized onions and greens. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The prices are reasonable and the service fine. I will definitely be back.

The most delicious pizza on the planet. I take everyone here when they come visit me, especially if I am trying to entice them to move here. Yum!

Keep your eyes peeled--the restaurant is nestled between a dry cleaner and a convenience store on the corner of Glisan and NE 28th, beyond the big white heart sign that faintly reads Dove Vivi.
What to Drink:
Beer goes best with pizza, so order an Amnesia or Double Mountain beer on tap.
